  • Patent number: 6257314
Abstract: A radiator shaping device comprises a lower mold, an upper mold, and two movable molds. The lower mold is installed with a lower chamber; The upper mold installed with an upper chamber, after the lower mold and the upper mold are engaged, a closing space is formed therewithin. The movable molds having a plurality of inserting plates which serves to insert into the fins at two ends of an aluminum folded radiating piece so as to support the folded radiating piece from the two ends thereof. Then it is further placed into the closing space for separating the space as a lower space and an upper space. Next, aluminum liquid is filled into the filling hole of the upper mold. After cooling, the mold is detached, therefore, a high heat dissipating radiator with a lower plate integrally formed in the lower surface of a folded radiating piece is formed by above components.

  • Patent number: 6125921
Abstract: A radiator at least comprises a seat and a heat dissipating body. The seat have a receiving space; and the heat dissipating body is formed by a plurality of top portions, middle portions and bottoms which are connected continuously as a bending grid. A vent is installed on the top portion of the heat dissipating body. The heat dissipating body is compressed so that the top portions and the bottoms are closely contacted with one another as a plurality of continuously contacting planes. The compressed heat dissipating body is received within the receiving space of the seat and the heat dissipating body is properly combined to the seat. Thereby, the radiator of the present invention has preferred heat transfer efficiency and since the heat dissipating body is compressed, thus it has a higher density which is helpful in the heat dissipation.

  • Patent number: 6017185
Abstract: A fan fixing structure of a radiator comprises a supporting frame and four fixing pins. The supporting frame has a plate and a through hole is installed on the center of the plate. The plate is connected with four supporting legs. The four fixing pins are integrally fixed on the four corners of the plate of the supporting frame for fixing a fan. The plate may be located on the fins of the radiator, and the four supporting legs are fixedly locked on the upper and lower sides of the base by screws so that the fan is combined with the radiator in order to dissipate the heat emitting from the fan. Integrally, the fan fixing structure has a preferred adapting ability and may be used in various kinds of radiators.

  • Patent number: 5947192
Abstract: A stack-fin radiator comprises a base and a fin set. One surface of the base is separated into a central first portion and two second portions on the two sides of the first portion. The fin set formed by a first fin unit and a second fin unit, the first and second fin units are formed by stacking a plurality of first fins and second fins. Connecting pieces being used to penetrate the first fins and the second fins so that the first fins and the second fins are connected in series, the first fins and second fins are also fixed on the respective first and second portions of the base. By the aforementioned structure, the stack-fin radiator with high heat dissipation efficiency, higher mold cost and of easily manufacturing are achieved.
