Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for increasing the efficacy and/or bioavailability of a nutrient formulation or composition for the treatment and/or prevention of inflammatory processes associated with airway diseases such as asthma. In particular, the invention relates to a method of treating an airway disease in a subject in need of such treatment, comprising the step of administering a nutrient formulation or composition which comprises one or more components which have been agitated such that a harmonic of between 20 to 50 Hz has been produced, in an amount effective to treat said disease.
