  • Self-supporting air removal device for use with a nursing bottle

    Abstract: A plunger with a base, upwardly extending shank, and tip receives an open bottom of a nursing bottle having a liquid filled sack in order to expel air from within the sack. Preferably, a trough is formed in the base about the shank for collecting liquid run over which escapes the sack during pressurization with the tip. Preferably, the base includes a plurality of vertically extending faces which allow the plunger to rest on a horizontal surface without rolling when storing the plunger subsequent to use.
