    Abstract: A touch sensing apparatus includes at least one conductive sensing element and a reading device. The conductive sensing element includes a substrate and a conductive sensing layer. The conductive sensing layer is disposed on at least one surface of the substrate. The conductive sensing layer includes a plurality of conductive sensing units and a plurality of transparent conductive wires. An orientation distribution of the conductive sensing units is by a coordinate encoding method to constitute a coding pattern. The coding pattern includes coordinate information. The reading device is actuated on the conductive sensing layer, senses and decodes the coding pattern to analyze the coordinate information. The touch sensing apparatus can perform a digital writing and recording without power supply.

    Abstract: A user input system includes an optical wave plate assembly a reading device. The optical wave plate assembly includes a phase wave plate and a phase retardation layer. The phase retardation layer is disposed on at least one surface of the phase wave plate. The phase retardation layer includes a code pattern with coordinate information. The optical wave plate assembly converts incident light into at least one of a first polarized light having a first polarization state and a second polarized light having a second polarization state through the phase retardation layer. The first polarization state and the second polarization state are different. The reading device is operated on the optical wave plate assembly for sensing presence or absence of the first polarized light, analyzing a distribution of a change in brightness of the code pattern, and performing a decoding to obtain the coordinate information.

    Abstract: Provided are an interactive handwriting display device and an interactive handwriting capture device. The interactive handwriting display device has a display panel and a patterned band-pass filter component, and the patterned band-pass filter component has a substrate and multiple band-pass filter units. The interactive handwriting capture device includes an optical signal selector, an image-forming module, a photodetector chip and a microprocessor. By using the interactive handwriting display device with a patterned filtering function and the interactive handwriting capture device with the recognition function, the addressable ITO sensor's need of electrical connection is eliminated, providing interactive operating function and the writing function of high sensitivity and accuracy. Also, the manufacturing complexities are reduced and the integration of components is improved as the touch screens get larger in size.
