Abstract: A method for manufacturing a textile composite intended for mechanical reinforcement of a bitumen or synthetic-based waterproof coating. The composite comprises a first layer of a non-woven fabric material based on synthetic fibres that is puncture resistant; a second layer of a non-woven fabric material based on mineral or synthetic fibres that is fire resistant; a grid structure placed between the first and second layers, the warp yarns and weft yarns of which are connected to each other at the points where they cross by means of an adhesive that also ensures bonding of the first and second layers on the grid.
Abstract: Cover for closing a moulding mould using closure mould technology such as resin infusion or injection including a form-maintaining frame, having a plurality of inflatable wedges, which are arranged on at least part of the circumference thereof, and mounted in a removable manner.
Abstract: The invention relates to a textile complex (1) intended to be used as reinforcing layer for the manufacture of three-dimensional composite parts by resin injection or infusion processes, comprising at least one fibre-based reinforcing layer (2). It is characterized in that it comprises on one of its faces, a fixing layer (3) based on a thermoplastic having an almost zero cold elongation and a melting point below the melting point of the other materials of the complex, and in that the said fixing layer (3) is apertured to allow the passage of the injected or infused resin. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a flexible preform, during which the shape of the reinforcement is maintained by the presence of a fixing layer joined to the reinforcement in a preformed mould.
Abstract: A rigid element (2) made of a polymer-resin-based material intended to be joined, by welding, to a support structure (3) made of a polymeric material, characterized in that it comprises a textile layer (10) including electrically conductive yarns (11, 12) and in that it has an outer layer (14) made of a material that is compatible with the material of support structure (3).
Abstract: Mechanically reinforcing complex (3), intended for incorporation in a composite part (1) with injected resin based core (2), comprising a reinforcing textile structure (5), for impregnation in a thermoset resin conferring mechanical properties. It is characterized in that it comprises a layer of open-cell foam (4), present on the inner face of the complex (3), intended to come into contact with the resin of the injected core (2).
Abstract: Fibrous stiffener (1) for making composite parts molded from an injected resin base, of the type comprising at least one layer (2) based on stiffening fibers, characterized in that the layer (2) is connected by sewing or stitching to an elastomer sheet (6) extending over one of the wide faces of the layer (2) and performing a barrier function for any resin injected on one side or the other side of this sheet (6), the said elastomer sheet (6) being associated with a non-woven material (7) on at least one of its faces, to improve the adhesion of a resin injected on this side of the sheet (6).
Abstract: A rigid element (2) made of a polymer-resin-based material intended to be joined, by welding, to a support structure (3) made of a polymeric material, characterised in that it comprises a textile layer (10) including electrically conductive yarns (11, 12) and in that it has an outer layer (14) made of a material that is compatible with the material of support structure (3).
Abstract: A woven cloth based on high-strength yarns, in particular fiberglass yarns, is used for reinforcing parts moulded by resin transfer moulding (RTM) and comprises threads which are disposed in a weft direction and are not perpendicular to warp threads. Said woven cloth is characterised in that a ratio TcDc/TtDt ranges from 0.2 to 0.8, wherein Tc is a warp thread number, Tt is weft tread number, Dc is the number of warp threads per length unit and Dt is the number of weft threads per length unit.
Abstract: A textile composite (1) intended for mechanical reinforcement of a bitumen-based waterproof coating, characterised in that it comprises: a first layer (7) of a non-woven fabric material based on synthetic fibres that is puncture resistant; a second layer (6) of a non-woven fabric material based on mineral or synthetic fibres that is fire resistant; a grid structure (2) placed between the first and second layers (6, 7), the warp yarns (3) and weft yarns (4) of which are connected to each other at the points where they cross by means of an adhesive that also ensures bonding of the first (7) and second (6) layers on the grid (2).
Abstract: A unidirectional textile reinforcing sheath capable of being taped onto a mechanical structure to be reinforced, said sheath being formed from a tape produced by the weaving of high-strength warp threads based on aramid, and having a central zone bordered by two lateral zones, the thickness of the lateral zones being less than that of the central zone.
Abstract: A unidirectional textile reinforcing sheath (1) capable of being taped onto a mechanical structure to be reinforced, said sheath being formed from a tape produced by the weaving of high-strength warp threads (5) based on aramid, and having a central zone (2) bordered by two lateral zones (3, 4), the thickness of which is the lateral zones being less than that of the central zone.
Abstract: Reinforcing tape (1) that includes a ply (2) of longitudinal, aramid-, glass- or carbon-based high-tenacity yarns (3) bound together by weft yarns (4), which tape includes two thermoplastic films (5, 6), each placed on one side of the ply (2) of high-tenacity yarns (3).
Abstract: A reinforcing product includes a first layer (2) of reinforcing threads (3) parallel to each other and a second layer (4) of reinforcing threads (5) parallel to each other and transverse to the first layer (2). The reinforcing threads (3) in the first layer (2) are partially covered by a powder based on a thermoplastic or thermosetting material forming a bond firstly at points between the reinforcing threads (3) in the first layer (2), and secondly between the reinforcing threads (3) in the first layer (2) and the reinforcing threads (5) in the second layer (4).
