    Abstract: A Halloween costume particularly adapted to accommodate changes in weather and climate is disclosed. The Halloween costume may be sold in varied geography and be worn regardless of seasonal and whether variation. The inventive Halloween costume comprises several garment member portions which completely define the appearance of the Halloween character. The insulative material is disposed over at least a portion of the first garment base member portion. Another portion of the costume comprises a venting material which functions as a ventilator for the Halloween costume. At least one decorative member is secured to the Halloween costume. The decorative member further outlines the appearance of the Halloween character.

    Abstract: A costume promoting safety in an attractive manner is disclosed. The inventive costume comprises a flexible member having an appearance which creates, in the mind of an individual viewing the flexible member, an image of a person, animal, character or thing. The flexible member comprises a garment-like member. The garment-like member comprises a shirt-like garment section and a pants-like garment section. Attachment structure is secured to the flexible member and configured to be attached to a person and to attach the flexible member to the person. A light emitting member having an appearance which creates, in the mind of an individual viewing the light emitting member, an associated image associated with the image of a person, animal, character or thing completes the inventive costume.

    Abstract: An illuminated costume promoting safety is disclosed. The inventive costume comprises a light distributing assembly, comprising a light source and a plurality of light outputting members optically coupled to the light source, each of the members having a light outputting surface. The light outputting members have first and second member ends. The first member end are optically coupled to the light source. Each of the members has a light outputting surface on its second member end, wherein the light outputting members have various lengths. The light outputting members come in at least four different lengths. In accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention the light source is a light-emitting diode which is driven by either a battery which maintains the light emitting diode active emitting light all times, or the light source may be driven by a battery powered transistorized power source which causes the lights to blink or follow any other pattern desired.

    Abstract: A training shoe is disclosed. The shoe, preferably a soft shoe such as a slipper is designed to emit audio and/or physical stimuli which assists the user in learning dance or other steps. The shoe comprises electromechanical members which are responsive to electrical output signals to control movement to guide a user to perform the appropriate dance steps. In preferred embodiments, the shoe also comprises a loudspeaker through which music is played. In alternate embodiments, the electromechanical members are responsive to audio stimuli such as the music from the loudspeaker on the shoe or from other musical sources.

    Abstract: A method is disclosed for making a doll face comprising providing a fabric with at least one visual feature and placing the fabric, after it has been provided with such a visual feature, proximate to a plastic film to form a fabric and film assembly. The fabric and film assembly is then placed proximate a first heated shaping platen. The fabric and film assembly is driven proximate a first heated shaping platen to adhere the plastic film to the fabric and heat-form of fabric and film assembly into a desired shape having physical features, for example of a doll face. A portion of the adhered film and fabric is cut with a razor or the like to form a doll face. The face may then the incorporated into a doll. In accordance with the preferred embodiment, the fabric and film assembly is driven toward the first heated platen by a second heated shaping platen which is complementary in shape to the first heated shaping platen. The inventive doll head is one made using this process.
