Abstract: A reversible garment is provided with a two-sided pocket comprising a main piece with an access opening, a pocket piece with an access opening that is aligned with the access opening of the main piece, and a lining piece between the main piece and the pocket piece, and having an edge present in the access openings of the main piece and the pocket piece. Stitching around the edge of the pocket piece couples the pocket piece to the lining piece and the main piece. This two-sided has less bulk and more flexibility than the conventional method of attaching mirror patch pockets to either side of a reversible garment.

  • Publication number: 20060206988
Abstract: In a reversible welt patch pocket according to the present invention, a pocket pouch is formed by a patch pocket and a garment main piece. The top of the patch pocket is unattached to allow access to the contents of the pouch. The garment main piece has a slit attached to a welt for allowing access to the contents of the pouch. • Publication number: 20060137077
Abstract: A reversible garment has a reversible pocket attached at a seam thereof. The pocket has a pouch formed by a long pocket piece and a short pocket piece. The curved portions of the pocket pieces are sewn together and their seam is enclosed by another seam. The flat portion of the long pocket piece is attached to the seam of the reversible garment, and centered on an opening in the garment seam. When the garment is reversed, the pocket is pulled through the seam and the pocket pouch is turned inside out, so that the pocket pouch is accessible from the opening in the garment seam, whether the garment is worn with its front side as the outside or its back side as the outside.
