Abstract: A method and system are disclosed for automatically generating embroidery designs. A described method includes identifying vertices in a set of chain-code points defining an edge of a first object to be embroidered; filtering the vertices by: determining whether a height of a first triangle defined by a first one of the vertices and ones of the vertices that neighbor the first one of the vertices is at least a threshold; and when the height is less than the threshold, eliminating the first one of the vertices from the vertices; and generating embroidery data based on the filtered vertices.

Abstract: Printer driver systems and methods for automatic generation of embroidery designs are disclosed. An example method includes receiving a print command associated with print data representative of a design to be embroidered, and generating embroidery data using a printer driver and based on the print data.

Abstract: A manufacturing tray for imprinting custom content onto different articles of manufacture includes a tray base and frame, and a plurality of interchangeable different customized inlays for holding different types of articles of manufacture. Each tray includes an identifier which may be associated with a custom processing job for instructing the imprinting system which of a plurality of available pre-treatment, post-treatment, and imprinting processes to perform.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus for embroidery thread color management are disclosed. An example method comprises determining a set of thread colors needed for a set of embroidery designs including a first embroidery design and a second embroidery design, annotating the second embroidery design, the annotating comprising appending a reference to the second embroidery design in a first queue of designs to be embroidered by a first embroidery machine, and rolling back the annotation of the second embroidery design. The rolling back comprises removing the annotation, removing the reference, and removing a thread color from the set of thread colors, the thread color resulting from the second embroidery design.

Abstract: Mobile website building tools which may be used to build a mobile-ready website from a mobile device includes a design studio application downloaded for executing on the mobile device. The design studio application detects a device type and enables dynamic preview rendering if the device type is a traditional computing device, and for device types that are mobile devices, batches user modifications to a website under construction until a preview or save request is made by the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods for pre-aligning print head(s) to alignment adapter(s) to increase print resolution of printed matter, and to reduce offline time of a printing system due to print head alignment, include the use of an alignment adapter to which a print head is pre-aligned and which includes precision alignment features which precisely engage cooperating precision alignment features on the print head carriage mounting plate of the print head carriage. Print head(s) can be pre-aligned and fine-tuned to alignment adapter(s) even while the printing system is still in print production. Pre-aligned print head/alignment adapter assemblies can then be quickly mounted on the print head carriage using the cooperating precision alignment features of the adapter and print head carriage mounting plate. Duplicate sets of print head mounting sockets can include print heads aligned at different relative offsets (e.g., half a pixel) to increase the print resolution.

Abstract: A conveyance printing system and methods for printing articles of manufacture of different types and with different content is presented. Systems include a conveyance system configured to convey a plurality of trays, each having an associated identifier and each holding one or more articles of manufacture within the tray, and a printing system configured to receive a print tray from the conveyance system, receive a print job associated with the tray identifier, and print the associated print job simultaneously onto the respective print surfaces of the one or more articles of manufacture held by the tray.
