  • Patent number: 9818308
Abstract: A simulator of an agricultural working machine has a computer unit coupled to a display unit and a control unit. The agricultural working machine to be simulated has adjustable working parts and control elements that implement adjustment of the working parts and a software module that is stored in the computer unit. The software module depicts a process model of crop-processing processes to be implemented by the agricultural working machine and depicts the machine behavior resulting from the crop-processing processes. The process model and the machine behavior are visualized in the display unit and can be edited by the control unit.

  • Publication number: 20130166344
Abstract: A method for planning a process chain for an agricultural operation having a first resource entity of a first type such as harvesting machines and a second resource entity of a second type such as hauling vehicles includes determining a number of machines of the first and second resource entity to be used in the operation depending on the usage time frame and type of operation, determining a plurality of alternative first partial process chains for the first resource entity, determining a second partial process chain for the second resource entity for each of the alternative first partial process chains, combining the alternative first partial process chains with the second partial process chain to form a plurality of total process chains and selecting one of the total process chains.

  • Patent number: 7587885
Abstract: A header for a combine or harvester has a frame with a longitudinal dimension transverse to a direction of travel of the combine or harvester. Two moving belts are disposed on the frame to receive cut crop from a cutter and to move the crop from outer portions of the header towards an inner portion of the header. Each of the belts has a leading edge oriented towards the direction of travel of the combine or harvester and a trailing edge oriented away from the direction of travel and each of the belts has an inner aspect disclosed in spaced relation to an inner aspect of the other of the belts such as to define a gap therebetween, the gap receiving cut crop being transported longitudinally and inwardly from the belts. An auger with a cylinder and two end cones around an axis is disposed to urge crop from the gap and from the inner aspect of the belts towards a feeder house position behind the gap. The axis of the auger is forward of the trailing edge of the belt.
