Abstract: A waterproof waterbed frame safety cover is disclosed which completely encloses a waterbed decking board and upstanding rails. The waterbed frame safety cover comprises top and bottom sheets welded together along one end, wherein the remaining two sides and end are open for inserting a waterbed frame. The top sheet of the safety cover is formed to match the cavity of a waterbed frame having inwardly inclined upstanding rails and a contoured bottom mattress. A waterproof zipper closure seals the waterbed frame in the safety liner.

Abstract: A waterbed headboard bracket is disclosed for attaching a headboard to a waterbed frame. The waterbed headboard bracket comprises a Z-shaped elongated element including a pair of leg sections joined by an integral middle section. Each of the leg sections has a pair of slots for attaching to the waterbed frame and to the headboard. One pair of slots extend in the elongated direction of the elongated element. The other pair of slots extend transverse to the elongated direction of the elongated element. With the bracket mounted on the waterbed frame and the headboard, the headboard can be adjusted in the vertical and horizontal direction in relation to the waterbed frame.

Abstract: A waterbed mattress construction includes a plurality of water wave action dampening baffles which extend the vertical distance between the bottom and top interior surfaces of the mattress. The dampening baffles comprise flexible plastic strips welded to the interior bottom surface of the mattress, and floatation rods welded in a sleeve at the other end of the baffles. The baffles are so positioned within the waterbed mattress to provide lengthwise and diagonal dampeners which interfere with any water wave action.

Abstract: A waterproof waterbed safety liner is disclosed which completely encloses a waterbed mattress. The waterbed safety liner comprises top and bottom sheets welded together, wherein the top sheet has an opening for inserting the waterbed mattress, and a waterproof zipper closure for sealing the mattress in the safety liner. Should the waterbed mattress leak, the safety liner will prevent the water from spilling on the surrounding floor surface.

Abstract: A waterbed assembly comprising a contoured frame, a waterbed mattress, and waterproof covers which completely seal the entire assembly. The contoured frame is structured to provide inwardly facing walls which dampen the water wave action normally associated with waterbeds. A plurality of internal baffles are positioned within the waterbed mattress to further dampen any wave action.
