    Abstract: A pipe coupling for a stainless steel well casing includes a square threaded male member which is received within a square threaded female member so that the coupling is initially loose. O-ring seals are provided to prevent the fluid being pumped from corroding threaded portions of the male and female members. Each member has a shoulder which is abutted by the end of the other member in order to lock the members in rigid relationship.
