Patents Assigned to Clean Air, Inc.
  • Patent number: 11491496
Abstract: The present invention provides methods and systems for an ionization device that includes a base portion, a first pair and a second pair of opposed sidewalls extending upwardly from the base portion to form an upper edge, a top portion is engaged to the upper edge, and a cavity is formed within the base portion, the two pairs of opposed sidewalls, and the top portion. A probe assembly is in electronic communication with the top portion, wherein the probe assembly comprises a probe seat selectively secured to an exterior portion of a conduit of the existing environmental control system of the aircraft and a wire extends through the probe seat for supplying electrical current to an emission portion that emits ions.

  • Patent number: 6447574
Abstract: Pollutant molecules and/or particles are removed from a stream of polluted gas utilizing moisture-containing sonic or supersonic shock waves passing through the stream of polluted gas stream to alter, change, modify, grow or otherwise change the molecules and/or particles to render then removable or separable from the gas stream.

  • Patent number: 5039481
Abstract: A method for reducing the amount of ammonia released into the air in a livestock enclosure by the decomposition of livestock excrement or urine by applying to areas of the enclosure where livestock excrement or urine accumulates an ammonia scavenging composition that contains an aliphatic polycarboxylic acid in an amount sufficient to scavenge a portion of the ammonia which is generated due to the decomposition of the livestock excrement or urine, thereby reducing the amount of ammonia released into the air within the enclosure.

  • Patent number: 4042356
Abstract: In a bag house, the flat cell plate has integral annular walls drawn outwardly from the plane of the cell plate, the walls each terminating in a lip forming a circular opening lying in a plane parallel and spaced from the plane of the cell plate. Vertical tubular filter bags are secured to the cell plate by a spring in each bag which forces an outwardly facing groove on the open end of the bag into engagement with the lip to which the bag is attached.

  • Patent number: 3945400
Abstract: A duct system wherein a main gas manifold services spaced-apart rows of bag houses and wherein a reverse-air manifold and valved passage assembly is interposed between and is connected to the main gas manifold and the bag houses. The assembly is made up of a plurality of identical modular units connected end-to-end. Each module has a portion of the reverse-air manifold therein and valved passages adapted to communicate the interior of two bag houses with either the main gas manifold for normal gas-cleaning operation or with the reverse-air manifold for bag-cleaning operations. The construction of the reverse-air manifold and valved passage modular units enables them when assembled to provide heat exchange between a hot gas being cleaned and the reverse air to avoid undesirable condensation during cleaning operations.
