Abstract: A system, method and computer program product are provided for replaying a pattern for transitioning from one state to another state. A request to transition from a current state in a pattern to a new state is received. Information about transitioning is retrieved from the pattern. Scripting code of the current state is evaluated. An action is executed using the scripting code for effecting the transition from the current state to the new state. An output from the new state is generated and sent to a user device. A system, method, and computer program product are also provided for replaying a pattern for transitioning from one state to another state in a remote application. A request to transition from a current state in a pattern to a new state is received. An action is executed for effecting the transition from the current state in the remote application to the new state in the remote application utilizing the pattern. The new state is output to a user device.

  • Publication number: 20030115572
Abstract: A system, method and computer program product are provided for generating an application. An interaction with a first application is recorded for capturing a functionality of the first application. An interaction with a second application is also recorded for capturing a functionality of the second application. A pattern is generated based on the recorded interactions. An application is generated based on the pattern. The interactions recorded in the pattern are repeated upon replay of the pattern for providing the functionalities of the first and second applications. A method for executing the pattern-based application is provided. Upon receiving a request for data, a pattern for retrieving the requested data is selected. The pattern is replayed. The recorded interaction is conducted as specified in the pattern for obtaining the requested data. The requested data is received.

  • Publication number: 20030115378
Abstract: A system, method and computer program product provide functionality via a non-natively coded application on a client device. Initially, user input is received on a device. A pattern is replayed on the device. Navigation of the pattern is managed. Data is retrieved based on the user input utilizing at least one connector, as specified in the pattern. Finally, the retrieved data is output. A system, method and computer program product are also provided for creating an application for a client device. The functionality of the desired application on a device is provided by selecting functional computer code that processes data. The functional computer code does not include coding to the native API's of the device. One or more connectors are selected and programmed to interface with programs on the device for retrieving data for processing. One or more output nodes are generated for outputting the processed data from the device.

  • Patent number: 6427175
Abstract: A method of sharing access operations of at least one bookmark node with an associated access level for each access operations by at least two identified web users. The method includes steps of allowing performance and barring performance of the access operation by an identified web user of the bookmark node. The access operations including viewing and editing the bookmark node by an identified web user. Whenever the associated access level of a first access operation allows an identified web user to perform the access operation upon the bookmark node, the first access operation of first bookmark node by first identified web user is allowed. Whenever the associated access level of the access operation bars the identified web user from performing the first access operation upon the first bookmark node the performance is barred. Other embodiments of the invention are computer programs on computer readable media.
