  • Patent number: 11946350
Abstract: A method for remotely shutting down a downhole unit of a rotary steering system from ground includes steps of: a: calculating a pressure difference P1 between a front end and a rear end of the drill water hole; b: calculating an extension loss ?P; c: calculating a pressure P2 at the riser after turning on the downlink device; d: calculating an opening area S1 of the throttle valve of the downlink device; and e: adjusting the throttle valve to a calculated opening degree; automatically targeting the function block that needs to be cut off according to a flow change detected downhole, and shutting down the downhole unit. The method can realize self-protection and continuous operation of the entire rotary steering system, reduce frequency of inspection that needs to pull back the drill when the rotary steering system is abnormal, improve drilling efficiency, and reduce costs.

  • Patent number: 11787990
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of petroleum industry phase oilfield chemistry, and specifically relates to a bionic and dual-phobic drilling fluid. The drilling fluid contains a bionic wall-fixing agent, a bionic lubricant, a super dual-phobic agent, a scrap-carrying agent and a bionic shale inhibitor. The present invention uses the theory of bionics and the theory of a downhole rock surface being double phobic as a basis. By means of using the bionic wall-fixing agent, the bionic lubricant, the super dual-phobic agent, the scrap-carrying agent and the bionic shale inhibitor, which have special properties of imitating animals and plants in nature, and using a series of bionic treatment agents, a set of bionic and dual-phobic drilling fluid systems, which corresponds to an unconventional, complex oil and gas well, is formed.

  • Patent number: 11225837
Abstract: A dual-speed and dual-core enhanced drilling equipment which has an outer cylinder, a downhole power device, a large cutting head and a small cutting head. Specifically, the large cutting head has a first centerline, a through hole arranged along the first centerline and a first diameter. The outer cylinder, which is sleeved outside the downhole power device, is connected to the upper drill string with the large cutting head to enable rotation among the large cutting head, downhole power device and upper drill string. The downhole power device has a power generation section capable of generating power, and a rotation output section which connects to, and provides independent power for the small cutting head, so that the small cutting head revolves around the first centerline under the driving of the upper drill string while rotating under the driving of the downhole power device.
