Abstract: A multifaceted trivet with multifaceted functionality includes a trivet (50) within a basket (54), a trivet (50) that may serve as a lid and a trivet with a rotatable base. The trivet (50) within a basket (54) provides further insulation by use of the basket (54). The basket (54) has serving handles (56) which allows a heated item to be placed within the basket and easily carried to a serving area The trivet (50) that may serve as a lid may function as a trivet on which a pot or container may be placed or may fit as a lid of a particular pot or container. The trivet (50) having a rotatable base rotates for greater access to a serving dish support by the trivet (50). The trivet with a rotatable base may further include a basket having wheels (58) for placing the trivet (50) within to carry the trivet (50) and the serving dish and to provide an alternative movement of the trivet.

Abstract: A container for media disc cases having a plurality of slots so as to present the edges of the cases in a stacked format. A magnifying bar is slidably mounted on the container for positioning in front of the case edges to aid the user in reading the indicia thereon. A light located within the container focuses a beam along the edge surfaces of the disc cases to aid in reading the indicia on the cases through the magnifying bar.

Abstract: A folding reclining chair includes a frame portion, having frame members that connect foot joints to seat joints; a seat portion joined to the seat joints; and a back portion in sliding engagement with two seat joints and joined to slide-lock mechanisms engaged with frame members, such that the back portion is adapted to being selectively reclined. For example, the frame portion may include pairs of frame members that are pivotally joined at a point between a first end and a second end of each of the two frame members in a pair, with the first end and second end of each frame member pivotally joined to a seat joint and a foot joint, respectively. Also for example, the seat portion may include a seat rest formed by a sheet of flexible material joined to a seat joint and engaged with the back portion.

The whisk is turned by rotatable gears, one of which is attached to a motor and one of which is attached to the base of the container. The motor is housed in a motor housing unit and is powered by batteries, or, alternatively, by an AC adapter. The motor housing unit includes a collar that is inserted into a sleeve in the bottom of the container base to provide a stable guide for aligning the motor gear and whisk gear. The detachable base also provides a stable platform for the container when it is not engaged with the motor housing unit. The detachable base may be a lightweight, yet sturdy, two-piece unit comprising a sleeve section and a coupling section. The motor housing unit fits into a tray which is adapted for use as a serving tray and which also functions as a battery recharger when plugged into an electrical outlet. The tray comprises holders for holding one or more containers.
