Abstract: The invention relates to a simplified, economical and rapid method for the production of a camshaft. In accordance with the invention, functional elements (2) consisting of a plurality of flat material layers (3) are deposited on a base shaft (1). The base shaft (1) is then deformed by hydraulic expansion in such a way that the functional elements (2) are fixed on the base shaft (1).
Abstract: A hydraulic damping rubber support with at least one chamber filled with damping fluid, includes fixing elements for fixing the rubber support to a vehicle, and at least one flexible diaphragm which interacts with at least one perforated plate and is used to decouple vibrations. The diaphragm further includes an uneven portion disposed over at least part of its surface.
Abstract: A self-pumping hydropneumatic spring strut with internal leveling for motor vehicles includes a working cylinder filled with damping medium. The working cylinder is under the pressure of at least one gas cushion arranged in a high-pressure chamber and acting as a spring. A piston divides the working cylinder into two working spaces and is connected to a hollow piston rod. Valves are arranged on the piston so that the two working spaces are in communiction through the valves. A piston pump is driven by the spring movements and pumps oil out of a low-pressure chamber into the working space connected to the high-pressure chamber and comprises a pump space formed by the hollow piston rod, a pump rod connected to the working cylinder. A further pressure generator acts upon the damping medium in the high-pressure chamber and/or the working space connected to the high-pressure space.
Abstract: A vibration damper with variable damping force, includes a cylinder filled with damping medium and in which a piston fastened to a piston rod axially moveably therein. The piston divides the working cylinder into two working spaces. The damping force for the directions of rebound and compression are influenced by nonretum valves acting in the respective directions. A damping valve of variable damping action is additionally provided in series with each of the nonreturn valves so that the damping valve is active in both the rebound and compression directions.
Abstract: A torsion bar clamp device and method for mounting a heat sink to an electronic component comprising a torsion bar having a longitudinally extending bar and at least one integral lever adapted to engage a heat sink and mounting legs which couple forces imparted by the torsion bar to the heat sink and electronic component such that the heat sink and electronic component are compressively coupled. The invention may be manufactured of injection molded plastic and may be adapted to allow the mounting legs to engage bosses on a socket in which an electronic component is mounted.
