  • Publication number: 20140134572
Abstract: A polymeric material is curable from an uncured state to a cured state and includes at least one finely dispersed filler. The material has in the cured state, a translucency in the range of about 30% to about 100%, and shore A hardness according to DIN 53505:1984 in the range of about 20 to about 70 and a tensile strength according to DIN 53504:1994 in the range of about 1.5 MPa to about 4.5 MPa. The material has in the uncured state, a consistency according to DIN ISO 4823:2000 of type 0 to 3.

  • Patent number: 7789663
Abstract: The invention relates to a process of retraction of sulcus, comprising the steps of: applying a silicone material onto and/or at the vicinity of the boundary of a tooth and adjacent sulcus, which silicone material expands during or after its curing reaction; applying a cap onto said tooth, thereby forming a chamber over said silicone material, wherein said chamber comprises as its walls the tooth, the cap and an outer section of said sulcus; whereby said chamber allows for the silicone material to expand into the crevice between sulcus and tooth. Said cap is at least partially filled with a plastically deformable material when applied onto said tooth in step; and/or said cap is deformable, especially under biting pressure.

  • Patent number: 6595352
Abstract: A container for filling a predetermined quantity of filling product, in particular pasty tooth filler masses, has a cylindrical base body with two oppositely lying hollow spaces and a connection piece lying therebetween. The hollow spaces are closable with snap lids so that hygiene and where appropriate sterility of the filling product are guaranteed.

  • Patent number: 4685969
Abstract: Process for separating a pre-polymerized composite dental filling, such as an inlay, from the hard substance of the tooth using a separating substance consisting of a sol formed from a substance swollen and dissolved in alcohol and forming an organic or inorganic gel. The separating substance is applied as a separating layer to the cavity prior to introducing the composite into the cavity and this facilitates the removal of the composite after hardening in the cavity. The separating layer is removed from the cavity, and the inlay is then cemented into the cavity after being tempered.

  • Patent number: 4433779
Abstract: The present invention relates to a capsule for storing and vibration mixing of two component materials for dental application, particularly of dental amalgam components. The capsule encloses a mixing space in which a first component and a pestle are disposed. The pestle is in the form of a hollow body with a removable cover. The pestle serves as a container for a second component and has at least one opening. The opening permits the exit of the second component which opening is rendered passable as a result of a mixing vibration movement.
