Abstract: An attachment device (1) for a connector, includes at least two clamps (2a, 2b, 3) that can attach the attachment device (1) in a removable manner to a panel (30), and a base (4) that delimits a housing (6) that can accommodate a connector (31) or a connector support (31), the attachment device (1) includes a bolt (5), whereby one of the clamps (3) is arranged on the bolt (5) and another of the clamps (2a or 2b) on the base (4), whereby the bolt (5) is able to pivot relative to the base (4) so as to bolt, via the clamp (3) of the bolt (5), the attachment device (1) to the panel (30), whereby the bolt (5) in addition is adjacent to the housing (6) such that when the connector (31) or the connector support (31) is in the housing (6), it prevents the bolt (5) from pivoting.

Abstract: The electric connector comprises a first plug-in or receiving part (2) and a second plug-in or male plug (3) which are electrically connectable by relatively translating the plugging parts (2, 3) along a connection axis (X) and is characterised in that said first plug-in part (2) is provided with first guiding means (16, 26) interacting with the second guiding means of the connection element (43) of the second plug-in part (3) in such a way that the connection element is enabled to be displaceable with respect to the first plug-in part, and said second plug-in part (3) comprises a box (33) provided with third guiding means interacting with said connection element (43) in such a way that the connection element is enabled to be displaceable with respect to the box along the connection axis (X) and elastic means generating the movement of the connection element with respect to the box.

Abstract: Locking lever (5) for a connector, the connector (1) comprising a first, fixed plug part (2) and a second plug part (3) that can be connected to the first plug part by displacement in one connection direction (X), the locking lever comprising two end parts that can be pivotally fixed, along one axis (Y) that is essentially perpendicular to the connection direction, on two opposite surfaces (12) of the first plug part. Each of the end parts includes a cam track, the locking lever being able to pivot between a release position, in which one open end of each of the cam tracks can be positioned at a catch of the second plug part, and a locking position in which each of the catches can be positioned in a locking portion of the cam track, the end portion being capable of being elastically deformed to allow the catch to penetrate into the locking portion.

Abstract: A crimping tool to crimp a contact onto the end of a wire, the contact configured to receive both a stripped part and an insulated part of the wire end. The crimping tool includes a first and second tier to crimp the contact onto the conductor core and onto the insulating jacket of the wire respectively. A mechanism actuates the first and second tiers in substantially a simultaneous manner. At least one rotating element is arranged between at least one crimping component and a cam of at least one of the tiers, the rotating element possibly taking up at least two positions with respect to the crimping component. A crimping method crimps a contact both onto an insulating jacket of a wire and onto its conductor core.

Abstract: A connection device (1) for optical fibers, for use in a polluted environment includes a first connector (2) designed to be associated with at least a first optical fiber (16) and a second connector (3) designed to be associated with at least a second optical fiber (25) to be connected to the first fiber, wherein one of the connectors (2, 3) carries a fluid reserve (36) having a refractive index equal to that of the optical fibers, and at least pumping means (37) connected to said fluid reserve and which, in operation, can be actuated in response to connecting and disconnecting movements of the two connectors (2, 3) to inject, at each connecting/disconnecting movement, the fluid into a space (58) encompassing the front ends of the two fibers bringing them closer together or spacing them apart.

Abstract: A sealing device for installation between a partition and at least one cable or conduit passing through a hole in the partition, includes two half-shells together forming a cylindrical body which completely surrounds the cable or conduit and is fixed to the partition. The device also includes a sealing joint and sealant to fill the space between the cable or conduit and the cylindrical body and to immobilize them relative to each other. The sealing means includes at least one sealing gasket of a flowable elastomeric material disposed about the cable or conduit, a radial gripping device in the form of a resiliently deformable split ring, which is disposed about the sealing gasket in the cylindrical body. The sealing gasket includes a skirt which is radially retractable in a substantially uniform manner about its entire circumference.

Abstract: A device of forming a plug base for an electric relay to be fit through an opening in a panel is disclosed. The device comprises a body having a plurality of electric sockets and a width. An electric relay is part of the device and has pins engageable in respective electric sockets of the body and has a plug position where the sockets and the pins are engaged in an approach position where the sockets and pins are in contact. Snap-in resilient lugs are mounted adjacent the body and are flexible between a first position where the lugs are elastically contracted towards the center of the body and a second position in which the lugs are in a normal, non-contracted position. Each of the lugs has a width substantially equal to the width of the body. The relay, when the relay is in the plug and the approach positions, prevents the resilient lugs from moving to the first position.
