Abstract: A vehicle tire contains a tread part, a bead region which is radially formed inside the tread part and having a bead core, a bead filler formed radially outside the bead core, and a bead reinforcing layer extending over a periphery of the vehicle tire and containing at least one resistance carrier spirally wound radially outwardly from the inside towards the periphery. A further bead reinforcing strip is formed radially inside the bead core, the further bead reinforcing strip extending axially over the entire axial length of the bead core and being radially outwardly folded back towards the two axial outer sides of the bead core. The further bead reinforcing strip having a first folded-back section extending up to a radial extension height from a vertex of the wheel rim and a second folded-back section up to a radial extension height from the vertex X of the wheel rim.

Abstract: A method controls the level of a pneumatic level-control system of a motor vehicle including at least two axles, at least one pneumatic spring (2a, 2b) per axle, optionally one or more pressure accumulators (3), at least one pressure sensor (24), elements (16, 18, 20, 22) for determining the distance between at least one wheel and/or an axle and the vehicle body, a control unit (10) and a compressor (12). Abstract: A pneumatic spring and damper unit (1) has working chambers (2,3) which are filled with compressed air and are partially defined by rolled bellows or corrugated bellows. The working chambers are superimposed and connected through throttle valves, arranged inside a common pot-shaped cylindrical housing (4), and separated by a cylindrical piston (7), in such a way that one working chamber (2) is arranged on the front side of the piston and the other working chamber (3) is arranged on the rear side of the piston. The piston and the piston rod (5) are respectively sealed by roller bellows inside the cylindrical housing and guided therein, and the piston rod and the piston are interconnected by an articulation (6).
Abstract: A belt package for a pneumatic vehicle tire has at least two belt plies. The belt plies are built up in at least two sub-packages, which are automatically placed on a belt drum and automatically spliced independently of one another. The sub-packages are then joined together to form the complete belt package.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for positioning bead cores during a building of a radial tire carcass in a tire-building machine. The method includes positioning first and second bead cores on respective first and second core-centering devices, on a first side of a carcass drum and centering the first and second bead cores. Abstract: A method that can be used in the automated construction of a vehicle tire, using butt spliced tire components consisting of material webs, for example textile cords or steel cords that are embedded in a rubber mixture, to produce a carcass insert of the vehicle tire. The end sections of the cut material web can be clamped in a splicing device with pairs of upper and lower splicing elements, which can be displaced in relation to one another and the sections can be butt spliced.

Abstract: A compressor for a tire-repairing kit contains a second toothed wheel provided with a journal. The journal is functionally connected to a piston in such a way that the piston moves up and down when the second toothed wheel rotates.
