Abstract: A multi-layer textile includes fabric tiles bonded to a base textile layer. The fabric tiles might be cut from one or more larger fabric pieces, which are textile remnants or scraps from prior manufacturing processes. The fabric tiles are bonded to the base textile layer in a manner that reduces the susceptibility of the fabric tiles to peel away from the base textile layer.
Abstract: A strobel for an article of footwear includes a base layer and an upper layer formed of a polymer material covering a portion of the top surface of the base layer, leaving a portion of the top surface of the base layer exposed about an entire periphery of the base layer. The upper layer is directly bonded to the base layer without any fastening members. A method of forming the strobel is also disclosed.
Abstract: Aspects herein are directed to a reflective textile, and articles of apparel, uppers for an article of footwear constructed therefrom, comprising a reflective material dispersed between a first and second surface of the textile in a first zone. The first zone reflects a greater amount of light than a second zone of the textile. Other aspects herein are directed to a method of manufacturing a reflective textile or article having a portion comprising a reflective textile.
