The invention is further directed to a long-lasting dental restoration comprising: a polymeric matrix comprising at least two polymeric systems; an inorganic filler; and a pigment, wherein said long lasting dental restoration is formed by at least two curing processes of said polymeric systems, and to methods for the preparation of a dental restoration, wherein said dental restoration is either fully or partially structured chair-side or it is fully structured in a dental laboratory.
