  • Patent number: 4687038
Abstract: A pleated fabric is connected between an upper fixed sill and a movable sill. The movable sill is between the upper fixed sill and a lower fixed sill. Two string loops are resiliently secured to the sills and slidably frictionally engaged with the movable sill symmetrical relative to the sills and to a central axis parallel to the direction of movement of the movable sill. The tension in the strings is adjustably set by a single tension spring and a turnbuckle connected between and to the loops. The friction engagement of the strings to the movable sill is set to a friction load having a value which provides smooth operation and tends to keep the movable sill in place at whatever location the sill is moved to regardless the blind orientation relative to gravity.

  • Patent number: 4678136
Abstract: A relatively heavy sliver creel frame is suspended from an overhead support by relatively stiff wires whose angle to the creel in combination with the weight of the creel minimize horizontal creel sway. A pair of additional stabilizing links connect the creel to and cantilever it from a support structure spaced from the floor region over which the creel is suspended.

  • Patent number: 4671784
Abstract: An automatic paper board tube reamer apparatus includes a tube index and feed assembly and a pair of tube end reamers. The reamers automatically simultaneously square the tube end surfaces and ream the internal diameter of each end of a tube aligned therewith by the feed assembly. The feed assembly automatically feeds the tube to the reamers and ejects the reamed tubes. The reamers and feed assembly operate alternatively and continuously to recycle damaged tubes fed thereto.
