Patent number: 11585267Abstract: The invention includes a system to reduce deposits from a surface of an intake valve, preferably in a GDI engine. The system includes a delivery device having a reservoir for holding a cleaning agent. The reservoir has a body that defines an interior space, and an outlet port in fluid communication with the interior space of the reservoir body. The delivery device has a delivery conduit that extends from the outlet port and terminates at a distal end. The proximal end of the delivery conduit is in fluid communication with the outlet port. An actuator having an open position and a closed position is included in the delivery device. Upon activation of the actuator from a closed position to an open position, a portion of the cleaning agent flows from the interior space through the outlet port and is delivered under pressure to distal end of the delivery conduit.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 2019Date of Patent: February 21, 2023Assignee: CRC Industries, Inc.Inventors: Melodee Nemeth, Julie Williams

Patent number: 11371178Abstract: A portable parts washer for cleaning mechanical parts that includes a washer body having an upper portion, a lower portion, and a wash basin formed within the upper portion having inner sidewalls, a floor panel and at least one drain aperture. The portable parts washer also includes an in-use reservoir formed within the lower portion of the washer body and having a bottom panel spaced from the floor panel and outer sidewalls, and which is configured to receive cleaning fluid from the wash basin through the drain aperture when the floor panel is in a substantially horizontal orientation. The portable parts washer further includes a storage reservoir formed within the upper and lower portions and which is configured to contain the cleaning fluid from the in-use reservoir when the floor panel is rotated to a substantially vertical orientation.Type: GrantFiled: March 17, 2020Date of Patent: June 28, 2022Assignee: CRC Industries, Inc.Inventors: Francis A. Marks, Walter F. Ottmann, Thomas W. McNally

Patent number: 6770614Abstract: Precision cleaning compositions for electronic and electrical components comprise at least one halogenated, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon other than cis-1,2-dichloroethylene; at least one fluorinated saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon having the formula CnHmFp, wherein 3≦n≦6, 0≦m≦9 and p≧5; at least one fluorinated saturated or unsaturated ether having the formula CaHbOcFd, wherein 3≦a≦6, 0≦b≦9, c≧1, and d≧5; methylal; at least one simple alcohol; and optionally at least one propellant. In a preferred embodiment, the composition comprises trans-1,2-dichloroethylene, methylal, methyl nonafluorobutyl ether, ethyl nonafluoroisobutyl ether and carbon dioxide. The cleaning compositions are environmentally friendly (non-ozone depleting), are strong enough to tackle tough soils yet mild enough for use on plastic components, are non-flammable, have no flash point, and leave no residue on the substrate.Type: GrantFiled: June 3, 2002Date of Patent: August 3, 2004Assignee: CRC Industries, Inc.Inventors: Richard L.
