Abstract: A curiosity quotient computer system and method includes a knowledge acquirer database with records such as a knowledge acquirer identifier, an age, and a daily amount of knowledge acquirer time commitment for each knowledge acquirer. The system also includes an assessment database with records related to subject matter assessments including assessments for a first and a second subject matter category. A focus assessment database includes records related to the knowledge acquirer's focus area. A weighting generator at least in part generates weights based on the assessment records and a graphical interface conveys a rotatable wheel display to the knowledge acquirer. The system also includes logic for using the weights and the knowledge acquirer's interest level, experience, topics of interests and focus area to provide a list of subject matter content.

Abstract: A data processing, computer-implemented method for library streaming of adapted interactive media content. The method includes receiving a first video content that has one or more video data files. The first video content is segmented into a plurality of time-coded sections, and each time-coded section corresponds to a section video data file that plays a key concept of the first video content. The method includes using multiple templates for multiple locations in a sequence of section video data files that are being configured for streaming, each one of the templates defining transition content layout for each one of a specific location in the sequence of section video data files. The method automatically loads transition data into each of templates for each specific one of the multiple locations in the sequence of the section video data files to generate transition content prior to or as streaming occurs.

Abstract: An online video lesson builder system and method. The remotely-located system generates a single interface having a lesson index display area and a video display area for displaying data presentation (e.g., video) content associated with a lesson. A section control menu provides edit and assembly control buttons for editing and assembling the lesson and for segmenting the lesson into a plurality of time sections, each time section being associated with a key concept of the lesson.
