    Abstract: In some embodiments a method includes receiving, from a sensor device, a signal indicative of a voltage associated with a current passing over a line that is disposed through the sensor device. The method includes receiving, from the sensor device, a signal indicative of (1) a calibrated sensitivity of the sensor device, (2) a calibrated temperature of the sensor device, and (3) an ambient temperature that was received from an ambient temperature sensor. The method includes defining an actual sensitivity of the sensor device based on (1) the calibrated sensitivity of the sensor device, (2) the calibrated temperature of the sensor device, and (3) the ambient temperature. The method includes sending a signal indicative of a modified electric current value based on (1) the voltage and (2) the actual sensitivity of the sensor device.

The monitoring may comprise making a plurality of measurements of the voltage during a time interval and averaging the plurality of voltage measurements. In addition, the method may include transmitting an alert message upon power up after the outage to indicate a power restoration local to the device.

The method may further include measuring a second voltage of a second energized conductor and wherein the trigger condition comprises detecting concurrently for at least the first duration a difference between the first voltage and the second voltage that exceeds a first threshold, and a sum of the first voltage and the second voltage that is within a predetermined voltage range.

Providing the notification may include wirelessly transmitting the notification and/or transmitting the notification over a medium voltage power line. The low voltage subnet may comprise a low voltage feeder that supplies power to a plurality of low voltage supply lines that extend to the customer premises in which case determining the output power may comprise measuring a voltage of the low voltage feeder and measuring a current traversing the low voltage feeder.
