Patents Assigned to Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Corporation
  • Patent number: 6565714
Abstract: The present invention features a coke drum de-heading system comprising (a) at least one coke drum having an orifice therein; (b) a de-header valve removably coupled to the coke drum designed to de-head the coke drum; and (c) an exchange system, including an upper and lower bonnet and other elements and members adapted to integrate the de-heading system, and particularly the de-header valve, into the manufacturing system.

  • Patent number: 6503066
Abstract: A pressure testing apparatus to bring, and maintain, pressure within a test vessel at a proof pressure. The apparatus includes an air motor and a fluid pump which is removably mountable to the air motor. The air motor drives the fluid pump and the pump piston which reciprocatively moves with the motor piston. A precision pressure adjustment unit is located on an outlet side of the fluid pump and includes a chamber and a piston manually adjustable to expel a fluid from the chamber to increase the pressure in the test vessel.

  • Patent number: 6209577
Abstract: A pilot valve includes a body having a channel formed therein, an inlet chamber formed along the channel, an inlet port in communication with the inlet chamber, a control port in communication with the channel, and a vent port in communication with the channel. A piston is movable within the channel in response to fluid pressure within the inlet chamber. A first spool is movable within the channel and is rigidly secured to the piston to move therewith. A second spool is movable within the channel and carries a vent-valve disc. The second spool also carries an inlet-valve seat which cooperates with an inlet-valve disc carried by the first spool to regulate fluid flow between the inlet chamber and the control port. A vent-valve seat is rigidly secured to the body and cooperates with the vent-disc carried by the second spool to regulate flow between the control port and the vent port. A first spring urges the first spool in a direction opposite pressure in the inlet chamber.
