  • Patent number: 6117380
Abstract: Method and apparatus of manufacturing a synthetic resin tubular member having differently oriented inlet tube and outlet tube portions uses a pair of displaceable molding dies. One of the dies is rotatable relative to the other die. The molding dies have a core portion fitted to the tube end of one of the inlet and outlet tube portions and is slideable in a direction different from the direction in which the dies open and close. The method includes the steps of core insertion, die clamping, injection, die opening, core removal, ejection, and die rotation. Each time the molding die is rotated one step, a primary molding step, in which two molding halves of the tubular member are formed, and a secondary molding operation, in which the two molding halves are joined, are formed, so that a finished tubular member is obtained for each rotational movement of the molding dies.

  • Patent number: 5988713
Abstract: A bumper reinforcement has a generally reversely positioned U-shaped cross section, which is adapted to be combined with a bumper face having a generally U-shaped cross section to constitute a bumper. The bumper reinforcement is removably assembled to within an opening of the bumper face with an opening side of the bumper reinforcement directed toward the bumper face. Also, the bumper reinforcement has a plurality of vertical reinforcing ribs that extend vertically to link upper face portion and lower face portion of the bumper reinforcement with each other, and for segments partitioned by the vertical reinforcing ribs, diagonal reinforcing ribs extend diagonally in the segments and stretched diagonally across vertical reinforcing ribs on both sides of each segment, linking them with each other. The vertical reinforcing ribs and the diagonal reinforcing ribs are integrally molded in the bumper reinforcement.

  • Patent number: 5941284
Abstract: The present invention provides a channel housing comprising curving channels whereby complex and varied channels can be compactly contained.Plural curving channels that must be connected to plural valves, for example, are formed by partitioning walls forming curving channels inside a pair of symmetrical housing halves, which are then bonded together to form the complex channel system. The housing halves may be joined by welding or adhesive bonding. To improve the bonding strength, a pair of opposing channel members is provided along the length of the contacting members that are welded or bonded. The cavity formed by the opposing channel members D, D is then filled with an adhesive resin M to integrate the two halves.

  • Patent number: 5562872
Abstract: A chopping board of the present invention is formed in a manner that synthetic rubber (NBR) and hard chloroethene as a basis are kneaded into wherein an anti-bacterial agent is mixed. Definitely, a stiffening agent of synthetic rubber, low-pressure polyethylene resin, white carbn black which is the reinforcing extender of rubber, zinc flower as a reinforcing accelerator of rubber, titanium as a coloring agent and stearic acid as a dispersion accelerator are mixed with the base of synthetic rubber (NBR) and hard vinyl chloride. The mixture thus obtained is agitated under kneading by a kneader exclusively for rubber and then a ceramic power and an inorganic antibacterial agent are mixed with the kneaded mixture so as to mold the chopping board.

  • Patent number: 5514735
Abstract: An under-coating composition comprising 100 weight parts of chlorinated polyolefin resin including 15 to 35 wt. % of chloride and 1 to 70 weight parts of epoxy resin having an equivalent epoxy weight of less than or equal to 600 is capable of eliminating the pretreatment of a surface of polyolefin resin substrate which is to be overcoated and improving the adhesion strength between the over-coatings and the surface of the substrate of polyolefin resin. Especially, the coating surface according to the present invention is much improved in resistance to hot water and resistance to humidity. Further, the use of the under-coating composition according to the present invention permits an over-coating film to have a high resistance to water decoloration.
