Abstract: A waterproofing structure for a vehicle door having a cover member for closing a service hole formed in an inner panel, and a clip for detachably mounting the cover member to the inner panel. The cover member includes a seat portion and a tool hole. The seat portion is formed on an outer side of the cover member facing the inner panel, and the clip is mounted thereto. To detach the clip from the inner panel, a tool is inserted into the tool hole from an inner side. The clip includes a countersunk head covering the tool hole to seal the hole while the clip is mounted to the seat portion. The seat portion serves as a canopy with respect to the tool hole, and changes a course of water entering an interior of the door and falling toward the tool hole from the outer side of the cover member.

Abstract: A cushion clip may include a support portion capable of being connected to an attachment hole formed in a first member and a cushioning portion integrally connected to the support member. The support portion has an engagement portion and a head portion. The head portion has a shoulder surface that is formed in a columnar portion thereof. The cushioning portion has a base portion that is positioned to surround the head portion. The base portion of the cushioning portion has a bulged portion that is formed therein. The bulged portion is shaped to project beyond the shoulder surface in an insertion direction of the support portion, so as to elastically contact the first member when the cushion clip is applied with the impact from a second member.

Abstract: A clip having a main clip body that is made of resin and has a shape in front view that is closed at one end and open at the other end. The main clip body has engaging arms and holding members positioned to the inside of the engaging arms. The engaging arms are configured so as to be elastically deformed when the main clip body passes through an installing hole of a partner panel and to engage with a rim of the hole when the engaging arms have been inserted. The holding members are configured so as to keep the main clip body fitted onto the clip seat of the mounted member. The engaging arms and the holding members are connected to assume a substantially diamond-shaped loop in front view, and are configured so that the positions thereof differ in side view, and overlap in front view, when elastically deformed.

Abstract: A fastener may include a belt, a buckle connected to the belt and having an inlet end and an outlet end, and a pair of protection portions formed in the outlet end of the buckle. The belt and the buckle are arranged and constructed to be locked to each other when the belt is tightened after the belt is inserted into the buckle and drawn therefrom. The protection portions are arranged and constructed to respectively face longitudinal peripheries edges of the belt that is inserted into the buckle and drawn therefrom. Each of the protection portions has a projection amount not less than a length of a remaining portion of the belt, which portion can be produced by cutting off an excess portion of the belt drawn from the buckle.
