Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method and system for providing an international electronic payment service using mobile phone authentication. A payment method using an IPN server is selected, and results of verification of the product are relayed to a PG company server in a first country “A.” A user in country A enters primary authentication information, and a mobile communication company server performs primary authentication. The mobile phone of the user is then notified of an OTP, and the PG company server in country A receives the OTP and performs secondary authentication. The IPN server vicariously processes a payment between the PG company server and the mobile communication company server, and notifies a PG company server in a second country “B” of results of payment. The mobile communication company server sends paid money to the PG company server in country A, and the PG company server gives money corresponding to product price to the seller.

Abstract: A method of processing data for paying for at least one of item in a system having a Payment Gateway server and a mobile device is disclosed. The method includes steps of downloading an application by using address information in a memory of the mobile device, transmitting user information stored in the USIM of the mobile device to the PG server if the first phone number is identical with the second phone number, generating ID information for the user in the PG server, transmitting first barcode from the PG server to the mobile device if the mobile device requests a barcode to the PG server, transmitting request signal for second barcode from the mobile device to the PG server if a specific item is selected by the user of the mobile device, and transmitting the second barcode from the PG server to the mobile device.

Order request information of a product is sequentially transmitted to an affiliated store server and a PG company server, and the product and a relevant affiliated store are verified. A mobile communication company server primarily authenticates the user, and the PG company server generates an OTP. The OTP is transmitted to allow the PG company server to secondarily authenticate the user using the OTP. The affiliated store server requests the PG company server to confirm information about a payment for the product and information about authentication of the user, and the PG company server confirms payment and authentication information. The affiliated store server requests the PG company server to process payment for the product, the PG company server requests the mobile communication company server to process payment, and the mobile communication company server processes requested payment.
