    Abstract: An improved thread-draw-off guide attached to a spinning rotor of an open-end spinning unit. The thread-draw-off guide is provided with a cylindrical annular guide portion and a radial outer surface extended outward from the cylindrical annular guide portion and the above-mentioned radial outer surface is formed with a roughened friction surface characterized in that the coefficient of friction thereof against a yarn in a radial direction is smaller than the coefficient of friction thereof against a yarn in a concentric direction thereof.
