Abstract: A knee control mechanism is provided for operation of a machine. The mechanism includes at least one knee contact surface operatively connected to the machine in such manner as to permit operation of the machine while the operator is standing with both feet firmly placed on the floor at all times. The knee control mechanism is positioned forwardly of and substantially entirely to either one of the right and left sides of the operator.
Abstract: An adjustable foot pedal assembly for control of an industrial machine which is supported by a stand having legs includes a treadle plate rockably mounted on the foot pedal assembly beneath and longitudinal in relation to the stand, for operation of the industrial machine supported by the stand. The foot pedal assembly has a mechanism for selective transverse adjustment of the foot pedal assembly in relation to a longitudinal axis of the stand, connected to the legs of the stand, spacedly in relation to a floor, and a mechanism for selective vertical adjustment of the foot pedal assembly, in relation to the floor, connected to the means for selective transverse adjustment, and a mechanism for selective initial angle of tilt adjustment of the treadle plate.
