Patent number: 9976652Abstract: The present invention relates to a sealing device including a sealing circular piece, an inner ring and an outer ring, with one being able to rotate relative to an axis. The circular piece is arranged between the two rings and comprises two circular lips arranged in a groove inclined with respect to the axis of rotation. The groove is provided on the outer face of the inner ring. An attachment profile is fixed in an orifice formed in the outer ring. The inclination of the groove makes it possible to increase the potential contact surface area perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the crown ring, since, for a given distance between an outer edge and an inner edge of a ring, the groove can be longer, improving the resistance of the top lip to expulsion. The two lips are prestressed in the groove allowing for a better hold.Type: GrantFiled: May 30, 2013Date of Patent: May 22, 2018Assignee: DEFONTAINEInventors: Eric Jacquemont, Jean-Michel Delacou, Didier Chatry

Patent number: 6991378Abstract: For a bearing mounted between two concentric races rotating relative to each other, and forming an annular gap that accommodates the bearing and is closed by seals, at least one grease tube is provided between the periphery of one of the two races and the annular gap, and is connected to a corresponding grease reservoir. At least one main grease tube opens into the annular gap in an angular sector where an overpressure occurs, a corresponding main grease reservoir is adapted to collect grease flowing from the annular gap through the main grease tube due to the overpressure that may occur within the annular gap in the angular sector.Type: GrantFiled: July 2, 2002Date of Patent: January 31, 2006Assignee: S.A. Patent number: 6929243Abstract: The butterfly valve comprises a disk which is provide with at least one protuberance over at least a portion of at least one of its faces. Quite unexpectedly, the use of such a disk makes it possible to improve considerably the quality of the cleaning of the valve and to reduce the time required for cleaning operations.Type: GrantFiled: September 16, 2002Date of Patent: August 16, 2005Assignee: DefontaineInventors: Bruno Maraud, Jean Bonnefous

Patent number: 6318409Abstract: A system for assembling at least two pressurized fluid control members is made up of an interface to which the control members, which are essentially pneumatic, are fixed. The interface includes fluid pipes connecting their feed and outlet orifices and at least two faces with an angle &agr; between them from 5° to 175° and each of which receives at least one of the control members.Type: GrantFiled: June 28, 2000Date of Patent: November 20, 2001Assignee: S.A. Patent number: 6279602Abstract: A piston type valve includes a piston moving in a cylindrical seat. The piston is fastened to an operating rod extending along the axis of the cylindrical seat. The perimeter of the piston carries an elastomer O-ring providing the seal between the piston and the cylindrical seat. The piston includes two piston members fixed axially together by clamping means. Each of the two members includes an annular groove of substantially circular arc shaped cross section open toward the groove on the other member. The elastomer O-ring is housed between the two annular grooves and clamped between them by the clamping means.Type: GrantFiled: March 27, 2000Date of Patent: August 28, 2001Assignee: DefontaineInventors: Jean Bonnefous, Bruns Maraud

Patent number: 6089255Abstract: A valve comprises a body including a chamber and two superposed closures moving in the chamber and the bottom part of the chamber includes a first seat for one closure and a second seat for the other closure. The closures are each carried by a swing mobile between a position in which the closure bears in sealed fashion on the corresponding seat and a position in which the closure is spaced from the seat. The space between the two closures contains an elastic material membrane closing a chamber into which a compressed air feed discharges. The membrane can therefore be inflated and pressed in sealed fashion onto the top closure to close and seal the inlet of a passage which discharges into a space between the two closures.Type: GrantFiled: April 19, 1999Date of Patent: July 18, 2000Assignee: S.A.
