Abstract: A master recording session at a server computer corresponds to a video content stored in memory accessible by the server computer. A first device and a second device are provided access to the master recording session and the master recording session is updated responsive to receipt of an update from the first device, where the update reflects initiation of playback of the video content at a time stamp corresponding to the timeline of the video content and includes an audio input configuration for the second device. The update is provided to the second device and an audio recording is received from the second device corresponding to a portion of the video content from the time stamp, where the audio recording is recorded by the second device using the implemented audio input configuration for the second device.

Abstract: A system and method for generating a compilation audio clip is disclosed. The method may include providing access to a master recording session to a first device corresponding to a first user and a second device corresponding to a second user, where the first device and the second device are in different physical locations, initiating a playback of a video content at the first and at the second device, actuating a first microphone coupled to the first device to record a first audio clip, where the actuation is synchronized to the playback of the video content, actuating a second microphone coupled to the second device to record a second audio clip, where the actuation is synchronized to the playback of the video content, receiving the first audio clip from the first device and the second audio clip from the second device, and generating a compilation audio clip including audio from the first audio clip and audio from the second audio clip, where the compilation audio clip is synchronized to the video content.

Abstract: A method for editing a remote audio recording session is disclosed. The method may be performed by a server computer connected to a plurality of user computers over a communication network. The method may include receiving instructions from a first computer to edit an attribute of a first proxy audio file of a high-quality audio file at a timestamp synchronized with at least one frame of the first video clip. The method may further include merging the edit of the attribute into the high-quality audio file of the master recording session using the instructions from the first computer to edit the attribute. The method may further include transmitting the instructions received from the first computer to the second computer to edit the attribute such the second computer renders a second proxy audio file of the high-quality audio file stored in local memory of the second computer with the edit of the attribute.

Abstract: The present embodiments provide methods and systems to playback and customize the playback of content relative to the portable storage medium. Some of these methods identify content to be rendered, through a playback device, in association with a first portable storage medium; identify one or more customizable display parameters to be applied in displaying the identified content; receive a first definition, following the identification of the customizable display parameters, for at least a first customizable display parameter of the one or more customizable display parameters; and cause the first definition for the first customizable display parameter to be stored on the playback device in association with the first customizable display parameter such that the first definition is to be applied by the playback device in rendering the content relative to the first customizable display parameter.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide systems and/or methods of managing content in providing a playback experience associated with a portable storage medium by detecting access to a first portable storage medium with multimedia content recorded on the first portable storage medium; evaluating content on the first portable storage medium; evaluating local memory of the multimedia playback device; determining, in response to the evaluation of the content on the first portable storage medium and the evaluation of the local memory, whether memory on the local memory needs to be freed up in implementing playback of multimedia content in association with the first portable storage medium; and moving one or more contents stored on the local memory of the multimedia playback device to a virtual storage accessible by the multimedia playback device over a distributed network in response to determining that memory on the local memory needs to be freed up.

Abstract: A digital watermarking system and method are disclosed. In one respect, the disclosed digital watermarking includes generating an extracted signal by applying a watermark extractor to an original image, generating a mixed signal by mixing the first signal with a periodic watermark signal using a local weighting factor for the periodic watermark signal that attenuates a strength of the watermark signal in proportion to a pixel luminance level, and replacing the extracted signal in the original image with the mixed signal to generate a marked image, wherein the watermark signal is extractable from the marked image using the watermark extractor.

Abstract: Methods, systems and devices for securely transferring digital data from a first repository to a second repository are disclosed. Per at least one embodiment, a second repository is identified with a human recognizable identifier and an internal identifier associated with such second repository is determined. When a data transfer is desired, a work order associating the data to be transferred and identifying the second repository based on each of the human identifier and the internal identifier is generated. Such work order is utilized by a data port device to open normally closed communications port to accomplish the transfer of the data to the second repository when the identity of such second repository is confirmed by the data port device. A data integrity check confirms that only the designated to be transferred data was actually transferred to the second repository designated in the work order.
