Abstract: A food mixing unit is equipped with a weighing system having a memory device for storing at least one recipe of foods to be loaded into the mixing unit and at least one weight detecting device to detect the weight of the foods loaded. Foods to be loaded are taken from relative stocking areas and the food weight is controlled by the weight detecting device and based on the food recipe, as foods are loaded into the mixing unit. A plurality of chemical and/or physical parameters is measured for each of the food stored in the relative stocking areas by using of a food analysis tool and the food recipe is modified according to the measured values of chemical and/or physical parameters and rewritten in the memory device of the weighing system.
Abstract: A system to adjust a predetermined dosage of main livestock feed products in a predetermined feed recipe, which includes one or more feed dosages, each indicative of a predetermined amount of a corresponding main feed product in said feed recipe. The system includes a memory for storing the recipe, a meteorological monitoring system suitable for determining one or more meteorological parameters in the storage areas of the feed products and a processing unit, configured to: determine a first value indicative of the humidity in each feed product as a function of meteorological parameters associated with the related storage area, determine a differential value indicative of the difference between the first value and a second value indicative of a reference humidity of said feed product, and adjust the feed dosage associated with each feed product in the recipe based on the differential value of humidity in the main feed product.
Abstract: A system for controlling the loading of animal food into self-propelled mixing units by means of a mechanical shovel. The system includes a testing apparatus, which is mounted to the shovel to determine a series of chemical-physical information related to the chemical components contained in the food and a weighing apparatus, which is installed in a self-propelled unit to measure the weight of the food and is adapted to establish a wireless communication with the testing apparatus to receive the chemical-physical information related to the components contained in the food.
Abstract: An embodiment of a system for controlling loading of food products in a food mixing unit by means of a loader unit, the system having: a weighing device, which is mounted on the mixing unit and has a memory for storing at least one recipe of food products to be loaded and, for each food product of the recipe, first geographic coordinates associated with the food product and identifying a stocking area of the food product; a GPS receiver associated to the loader unit to detect second geographic coordinates identifying the place in which the loader unit is located; and processing means configured to check the weight of the food products of the recipe as these are gradually loaded in the mixing unit, to acquire the second geographic coordinates for each food product being loaded when the loader unit takes the food product from a stocking area and to compare the second geographic coordinates with the first geographic coordinates for each food product being loaded in order to verify that the correct food product i

Abstract: A system for controlling the unloading of grains from a cart, which has a grain container and an unloading duct for unloading the grains, having an inlet communicating with the container and an adjusting device for closing or opening the inlet. The control system has load cells for detecting the weight of the container, an electric actuator for driving the adjusting device, a keyboard for acquiring a target weight of grains to be unloaded, and an electronic control unit configured to determine a weight threshold as a function of the target weight, to real-time determine, while unloading, the weight of the grains unloaded as a function of the weight detected by the load cells, and to control the actuator so that the adjusting device closes the inlet as soon as the weight of the grains unloaded reaches the weight threshold.
Abstract: A food analyzer which can be installed on a self-propelled food loading unit, and which includes an optoelectronic device for determining the spectrum of electromagnetic radiation reflected and/or absorbed by a foodstuff loaded by the self-propelled unit; and a processing unit for determining, as a function of the acquired spectrum of electromagnetic radiation, chemical and physical information relative to the elements in the foodstuff.
