Abstract: Systems and methods for generating visual disposition data and identifying causal event are disclosed. An example system may include an electronic mobile device to generate visual disposition data from a plurality of items in a store. The example system may further include a server to generate processed disposition data via image processing the visual disposition data and determine disposition analysis data for an item of sale from the processed disposition data. The server may further transmit the disposition analysis data, where the disposition analysis data includes an indication of a causal event for the disposal of the item of sale.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a computer-implemented method for determining and reporting compliance with rules regarding discarded material from an originating site. The method may include obtaining, for each batch of a plurality of batches of discarded material, identification information of a respective originating site, capturing image data for each batch and associating the identification and image data. The identification and image data may be sent to a server having rules regarding the discarded material. The server may then determine data regarding compliance and generate a report including data regarding compliance with the rules regarding the discarded material for each originating site.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a device for transporting waste or recyclable material. An example device may include a base and a collapsible sleeve, wherein the collapsible sleeve is movable between an open state and a collapsed state. The collapsible sleeve is structured to interface, in the open state, with the base to form a bin for receiving and transporting waste or recyclable material. The example device may further include an RFID as part of the base or the collapsible sleeve.

Abstract: Systems and methods for determining shrinkage of a commodity sold by a store are provided which may include: identifying data indicative of a volume of the commodity, associating a label with a container that holds the commodity, collecting the label information with a reader and transmitting collected label information to at least one server, automatically determining data characterizing the material in the container, associating the label information and the data characterizing the material in the container, and determining performance data related to the commodity by comparing the data indicative of the volume of the commodity supplied to the store, the data indicative of the volume of the commodity sold by the store, and the data characterizing the material in the container.

An example device may include an opening for receiving at least one micro-climate sensor and a space for storing the sensor. The device may further include a plurality of sensors operative to detect a presence of the at least one micro-climate sensor, and a sensor decommission circuit to generate a decommission command value in response to detection of the at least one micro-climate sensor.

The device can include a base with at least one temporary attachment mechanism to secure a collapsible sleeve in an open state to the base. The device may further include a collapsible sleeve movable between an open state and a collapsed state, the collapsible sleeve including at least one opening for interfacing with the at least one temporary attachment mechanism to secure the collapsible sleeve in an open state to the base, thus forming a bin for receiving and transporting waste or recyclable material.

Abstract: A method for transporting goods on a pallet, where the pallet may be reversibly converted to a bin for the collection of waste and/or recyclable material. The pallet may include a base with side walls and a collapsible sleeve wherein, if the collapsible sleeve is open and joined to the base, the collapsible sleeve, with the base, forms a bin. Goods are transported on the pallet. After unloading the pallets and removing the goods, the pallet may be converted to a bin. Waste or recyclable material may be placed in the bin and transported away. After removing the material in the bin and cleaning the bin, the bin may be collapsed back into a pallet for the transportation of goods.

A forklift system may include a forklift, an RFID reader with an antenna positioned on or in proximity to the forklift, wherein the antenna is positioned to read RFID information from an RFID tag positioned on an item handled by the forklift. The system may also include a device for measuring a parameter indicative of the weight of the item handled by the forklift, and a processing facility with a server for associating the information read by the RFID reader and the parameter indicative of the weight of the item.
