    Abstract: A metering mechanism including a metering element that is translatably mounted in a jacket, the jacket being mounted in an adjusting sleeve that can cooperate with the jacket by way of a screwing movement, the screwing/unscrewing movement causing a translatory movement of the metering element; at one end, the metering element is provided with a check valve, and at the other end, same accommodates a plunger, the reciprocating translatory movement of which creates suction at the end of the element provided with the valve, followed by expulsion into a volume surrounding the other end of the metering element via a passage formed in at least one first sealing device and in a second sealing device. A proportioning pump including a metering mechanism of the type as well as to a method for using a pump of the type in at least two metering ranges.

    Abstract: A hydraulic machine includes: a casing; a differential piston having an upper ring and a lower base, sliding reciprocally in the casing and a cylindrical housing inside the envelope, separating two chambers of the casing; a hydraulic switch conveying liquid to/from the chambers, the switch controlled by movement of the piston and including at least one rod acting on a distribution member that includes an upper valve cooperating with a first seat in the upper ring of the piston and at least one lower valve cooperating with a second seat in the lower base of the piston; and a trigger causing, at the end of the stroke, a sudden change in the position of the switch to reverse the stroke. The lower and upper valve seats accept upper and lower frustoconical portions and a lower frustoconical portion tapering in opposite directions. Also disclosed is a reversible metering pump.

    Abstract: A proportional metering pump includes a hydraulic machine, a metering mechanism provided with a nozzle, and a unit for attaching the nozzle to the pipe for access to the cavity inside the hydraulic machine, including a securing ring mounted in rotation about one of the ends of the nozzle, a locking ring mounted so as to be able to translate along the longitudinal axis around the pipe for access to the mixing chamber and is pressed, in the direction of the metering mechanism, against a shoulder created on the access pipe by a spring, the securing ring and the pipe being able to engage following a screw connection at the end of which they are secured in rotation so as to prevent unscrewing of the securing ring. Also disclosed is a method for assembling and disassembling a metering mechanism on a hydraulic machine of such a pump.

    Abstract: A metering mechanism includes a body mounted in a sleeve covering the top and an adjustment nut covering the bottom, the adjustment nut threaded to the sleeve, the screw connection then causing rotation of the adjustment nut with respect to the body of the metering mechanism, the body being extended by a valve seat that can be closed by a valve, able to receive a plunger of which the reciprocating motion permits intake at the valve, the travel of the plunger depending on the screw position between the adjustment nut and the sleeve. The metering mechanism further includes a rotation lock between the adjustment nut and the body of the metering mechanism to prevent the adjustment nut being screwed or unscrewed on the sleeve. Also disclosed is a method for locking and unlocking such a mechanism, and to a proportional metering pump incorporating such a mechanism.
