  • Publication number: 20060197432
Abstract: To provide a phosphor mixture realizing a light emitting device having a phosphor and a light emission element, by which light emission is performed, with a small color shift due to a feeding current and having an excellent color rendering properties. CaAlSin3:Eu as a red phosphor and YAG:Ce as a yellow phosphor are manufactured, and emission spectra thereof are obtained. Meanwhile, the emission spectrum of an excitation light emitted by a light emitting part is obtained. From the emission spectra thus obtained, a relative mixing ratio of each phosphor is obtained by simulation, so that a correlated color temperature of the light emitting device becomes a target temperature. Then, based on the relative mixing ratio thus obtained, each phosphor is measured and mixed, and a phosphor mixture is thereby obtained.

  • Patent number: 7094493
Abstract: A method for absorbing and releasing hydrogen comprises applying repeatedly hydrogen pressurization and depressurization to a hydrogen storage metal alloy of a body-centered cubic structure-type phase exerting a two-stage or inclined plateau characteristic in a hydrogen storage amount vs hydrogen pressure relation in an appropriate fashion to absorb and release hydrogen. At least at one stage during the release of hydrogen, the temperature (T2) of the above-mentioned hydrogen storage metal alloy is made higher than the temperature (T1) of the hydrogen storage metal alloy during the hydrogen absorption process (T2>T1). This enables the release and utilization of occluded hydrogen at a low-pressure plateau region or an inclined plateau lower region.

  • Patent number: 7048866
Abstract: There is provided a method for producing a metal/ceramic bonding article wherein a metal member 12 is formed so as to have a predetermined shape by printing a resist 14 in a predetermined region on the metal member 12 to etch the metal member 12 after bonding the metal member 12 to a ceramic member 10. In this method, at least one strip-like non-printed portion 16 having a width of, e.g. 0.01 to 0.5 mm, in which the resist is not printed, is provided in a region inwardly spaced from the outer periphery of the resist 14 by a predetermined distance, e.g. 0.01 to 0.5 mm, to control the etch rate in the outer peripheral portion of the metal member 12. Thus, the width and thickness of a fillet is freely changed. For example, a stepped portion (or a stepped portion and fillet) having a width of 0.05 to 0.5 mm and a thickness of 0.005 to 0.25 mm is formed in the outer peripheral portion of the metal member 12.

Abstract: Composite member 2 consisting of ceramic insulator substrate 3 and two metal layers 4A and 4B such as aluminum sheets is subjected to milling in order to remove the unwanted areas of metal layer 4A (where inter-element spacings are to be formed). In order to suppress cracking due to substrate warpage, a small bottom portion of 4A is left intact as residual metal layer 4Aa which is preferably removed by etching. Milling is performed after thin-film layer of etching resist 5 is applied to the surface of metal layer 4A.
