  • Patent number: 8157704
Abstract: A method controls a drivetrain of a motor vehicle having an internal combustion engine, an automatic transmission with at least two discrete transmission stages, and a clutch which is controlled automatically. The method is characterized in that when there is a transmission output speed at which the transmission input speed in an n-th transmission stage would be above a minimum rotational speed of the internal combustion engine and a transmission input speed in an (n+1)-th transmission stage would be below the minimum rotational speed, the drivetrain is operated in the (n+1)-th transmission stage with a slipping clutch and a rotational speed of the internal combustion engine which is above the minimum rotational speed. A control unit is configured to carry out such a method.

  • Patent number: 7717438
Abstract: A chassis system for a motor vehicle has a device for roll stabilization and a device for wheel camber adjustment. The device for roll stabilization and the device for wheel camber adjustment have one or more hydraulic actuating devices. The device for roll stabilization and the device for wheel camber adjustment are coupled to one another by a common hydraulic system. Accordingly, a link is provided between the roll stabilization arrangement and the camber adjustment arrangement in the motor vehicle. An active camber adjustment arrangement is realized by using the hydraulic power supply and the valves of the roll stabilization arrangement.

  • Patent number: 7422222
Abstract: Transport protection is provided for cable ends on compression struts of motor vehicles in which the cable ends protrude from hollow piston rods. In order to create transport protection which protects a cable end from damage, a pipe section is provided on the end of the compression strut at which the cable end protrudes from a hollow piston rod. The inside of the pipe section accommodates the rolled-up cable end and has an inside diameter selected to be greater than the outer area of the end region of the piston rod.
