The preferred assembly utilizes a base portion, a support leg, a table support, and a table. The base portion and table support being generally planar and having a first side and second side defined by an edge around a perimeter. The support leg coupled between the base portion and table support to generally provide a movable work surface, wherein the table and base portion are generally positioned parallel to a ground surface despite the angular connection.

Abstract: A floating tabletop leg cap configured for movable receipt onto the connecting portion of supporting member for positioning adjacent to an end portion of a table leg receiving the connecting portion. The floating tabletop leg cap including a resilient member affixed in a coupling between the supporting member and floating tabletop leg cap. Preferably, the resilient member is a compression spring configured to bias in a direction along a length of the table leg.

Abstract: A wire management system for a table leg is provided in a cooperative assembly with a table leg having a specific shape to receive a channel member with a cavity to receive various cables and cords. The wire management system is configured to work in a cohesive assembly and in an aesthetically pleasing manner, wherein the wire management system for a table leg is provided in a specific angular shape for receipt on a cooperative angular shape of the table leg or supporting member. Accordingly, the table leg of the cooperative assembly is provided in a geometric convex kite shape when view in cross section, wherein the kite shape is a quadrilateral having contiguous sides comprising two pairs of equal length sides that are adjacent to each other.

Abstract: A height adjustable work surface is described that may be utilized as a standalone desk or table, or integrated with a larger work surface to provide selective height adjustability to only a portion of a work surface. The height adjustable work surface preferably utilizes a modular trapezoidal frame structure, including trapezoid tube weldments, corner castings and machined hardened connector pins. The lift mechanism preferably includes parallelogram linkages, pneumatic gas cylinders, sliding brake bar mechanism and brake release handles to provide height adjustment functionality.

Abstract: A tabletop positioning and locking assembly is described for use with a modular trapezoidal table frame structure that utilizes trapezoid tube weldments. The positioning and locking assembly automatically positions the tabletop on the trapezoidal table frame at the exact desired location in relation to the frame, and also securely locks the tabletop down onto the table frame without the need for hardware or tools.
