Publication number: 20180273168Abstract: An aircraft for use in fixed wing flight mode and rotor flight mode while maintaining a horizontal fuselage is provided. The aircraft can include a fuselage, wings, rotor, and a plurality of engines. The rotor can comprise a wing attachment assembly further comprising a rotating support. A rotating section can comprise a central support and the wings, with a plurality of engines attached to the rotating section. In a rotor flight mode, the rotating section can rotate around a longitudinal axis of the rotor providing lift for the aircraft similar to the rotor of a helicopter. In a fixed wing flight mode, the rotating section does not rotate around a longitudinal axis of the rotor, providing lift for the aircraft similar to a conventional airplane. The same engines that provide torque to power the rotor in rotor flight mode also power the aircraft in fixed-wing flight mode.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 21, 2018Publication date: September 27, 2018Applicant: DZYNE Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Mark Allan Page, Matthew Robert McCue, Robert Anthony Godlasky

Patent number: 8662944Abstract: A vehicle is provided that is amphibious to include submersible operations. The vehicle has wings configured to generate a sufficient dive force to oppose buoyancy of the vehicle, when desired, which are disposed on opposing sides of a central hull. The vehicle is configured to enable easy transition from land operations to water operations, to include water surface travel as well as submerged travel.Type: GrantFiled: March 23, 2012Date of Patent: March 4, 2014Assignee: DZYNE Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Mark Allan Page, Christopher John Page, Matthew Robert McCue, Michael Karl Kohl, Patrick Quincey Stout, Neil Wayne Roberts
