Patents Assigned to Earlex Limited
  • Publication number: 20130026249
Abstract: An air spray gun for paint has a tubular body, having an integral screw thread receiving a threaded collar. This secures an air cap against the end of the tube. The air cap has four horns, formed with obliquely inwards directed bores, for patterning the spray, by impinging on it from opposite sides in a manner analogous to that for known air caps having two horns. Behind the air cap in the tube is an air distributor for distributing air to either or both of the pairs of air horns as required to patterning of the paint spray. Paint flow is controlled by a needle withdrawable from a paint nozzle for paint flow. The to needle is in two parts, a front interchangeable part and a rear part connected to the trigger.

  • Patent number: 7556211
Abstract: An HVLP paint sprayer having an inlet air duct equipped with a throttle to control air volume passing through the gun. The duct has a thick wall with a slot extending down from the top just past the bottom of the internal air passage. Close to its top, the slot has on opposite sides a pair of dimples directed towards each other. This is substantially the same size as the air passage and when aligned with it does not obstruct inlet duct air flow. The throttle is positioned by the dimples engaging in recesses and by a rim flange engaging on the outside of the duct. When less air is required, the throttle is pivoted about the dimples and recesses by pressing on the flange portion not abutting on the duct. Thus, the webbed portion of the throttle is brought to one side of the aperture, effectuating a throttle.

  • Patent number: 6371453
Abstract: A diffuser 1 for diffusing essential oil into a room using steam comprising a housing 2, a liquid container 6 in the housing, a heater 11 for heating the liquids in the container 6 to vaporize it, and a support 5 for holding volatilizable-substance matter 20 above the liquid container. For convenience, the volatilizable-substance matter 20 is in the form of an aroma packet, having upper 22 and lower 23 cellulose tissue webs, holding between them some dried plant material, for example lavender blooms. The webs are sealed together at their edges by a rim, which is sized to fit the support of the diffuser.

  • Patent number: 5762108
Abstract: A hose has an inner wall 1 of blow moulded tube and an outer wall 2 of continuous, spirally formed, corrugated tube. At each end of the hose, the inner wall extends further than the outer wall. The walls are separated by a rigid spacer 3 inserted into the end of the outer tube. The walls are united to a moulded connection member 4. This arrangement has a relatively long spigot 5 which extends from a cavity 6. The inner wall is slid onto the spigot as far as the bottom 8 of the cavity. A radially parting mould is placed around the connection member at a nose 9, within which the cavity extends. The mould has an aperture for the outer wall. On injection of material into the mould, the moulding 7 is formed in the cavity 6, along the extent of the inner wall on the spigot 5 as far as the spacer 3 and past the end 10 of this along an end portion 11 of the outer wall. The mould forms the outer diameter of the moulding to the dimension of the nose 9 and limits it from extending along the outside of the outer wall.
