Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method of embedding commands into electronic data utilizing canonical XML. The embedded commands are designed using a strict canonical XML format so as to be fully compliant with W3C XML standards. The resulting XML data is capable of holding both data and program coding without the introduction of non-compliant markup language elements. The present invention allows XML data containing embedded code to be subsequently parsed, utilized, and/or mined by XML-compliant applications, utilities, and tools.

Abstract: The present invention provides an improved method of storing, maintaining, and distributing computer intelligible electronic data that substantially reduces the cost and complexity of traditional database management systems. The present invention provides a unstructured database capable of efficiently accessing and storing electronic data, regardless of the data's structure. Instead of slotting incoming data into a predefined rigid storage structure, the present invention analyzes the inherent structure of the incoming data. Based upon the results of this analysis, the unstructured database of the present invention generates a storage model using tokenized symbology representing the inherent structure of the data. The tokenized symbology of the present invention is utilized to provide immediate access to each data field in a given record.

Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method of analyzing electronic data that eliminate the need for externally sourced descriptions, thus reducing the time and expense associated with manual creation of data file descriptive information. The present invention is capable of automatically analyzing one or more incoming data files, generating information descriptive of the structure of each data file and producing output data similar or identical in structure to the incoming data file(s) for use in subsequent applications.
