Abstract: The invention relates to a hose that comprises at least one inner layer (1) produced from an elastomer material, an embedded reinforcement carcass produced from a textile and/or metal material, an outer layer produced from an elastomer material and a coupling having a flange section inside the hose end. The inventive hose is characterized in that the coupling comprises a fitting, a supporting flange and at least one annular lamina. A first reinforcement carcass, consisting of at least one reinforcement layer, extends along the entire inside of the fitting and changes in the flange area from the axial to the radial direction of extension. The radial area of the first reinforcement carcass is mounted between the supporting flange and the annular lamina(e). A second reinforcement carcass, likewise consisting of at least one reinforcement layer, partially or completely holds the outside of the fitting, especially by way of fastening means.
Abstract: A conveying hose having a hose wall that is provided with reinforcement is provided. The hose wall also has at least one segmented, collar-like floating member that extends about the hose, and has at least one shoulder that is disposed on the outer side of the hose, extends about the periphery thereof, and extends into a correspondingly shaped recess of the floating member. In the region of the shoulders, both outwardly and inwardly of the reinforcement, outer and inner support elements are embedded in the hose wall. These support elements prevent an enlargement of the circumference of the hose when internal pressures increase, and prevent a reduction of the circumference of the hose when axially directed tension stresses increase.

Abstract: An annular-shaped buoyancy element for transport hoses which are used on water includes two generally semicircular-shaped buoyancy members, each of which includes a core made of foam plastic material completely encased in a sheath made of polymer material. Each of the semicircular members having coupling means mounted on each of the end faces thereof for coupling the members together. The members also have in a relaxed condition thereof, a radially extending V-shaped groove formed in its interior face, adjacent to the center thereof.
