  • Publication number: 20230399711
Abstract: A carrier for supporting a metallurgical vessel during a cleaning process of the vessel includes a base, a pallet, and a cradle. The base has a longitudinal axis along a length of the base. The pallet is coupled to the base between (i) a first position where a longitudinal axis of the pallet is at a first angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the base, and (ii) a second position where the longitudinal axis of the pallet is at a second angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the base, the second angle greater than the first angle. The cradle is disposed at the pallet and supports the vessel when positioned at the carrier for the cleaning process. Pivoting the pallet between the first position and the second position adjusts an angle of the longitudinal axis of the vessel relative to the longitudinal axis of the base.

  • Patent number: 11801994
Abstract: A receptacle is provided for holding a quantity of solid material. The receptacle includes a container having an open end, and a gate operably connected to the container so as to be rotatable to a closed position structured to prevent solid material from exiting the container through the open end. The gate includes a locking arm mounted thereon. A latching mechanism is operably connected to the container and includes a latch rotatable to a latched orientation structured to contact the locking arm to prevent the gate from being rotated out of the closed position. The locking arm is structured to move rearwardly and upwardly during rotation of the gate out of the closed position. The latch is structured so that contact between the latch and the locking arm when the latch is in the latched orientation prevents rearward and upward movement of the locking arm.

  • Patent number: 9370840
Abstract: A mobile cutting system includes a vehicle including a vehicle body and a drive system, a cutter attached to the vehicle body, and a controller in communication with the drive system, the cutter and the base station. The base station includes a post extending perpendicular to a surface, one or more fluid sources each storing a corresponding fluid used by the cutter to cut, and a reel attached proximate to a distal end of the post. The system further includes one or more feed lines each providing fluid communication between the cutter and corresponding ones of the fluid sources. Each feed line is received by the reel and suspended above the surface between the reel and the vehicle. • Patent number: 7686133
Abstract: An mobile equipment boarding ladder includes a pair of hinged mounting brackets attached to the mobile equipment at a first end. A ladder step is attached to the second ends of the hinged brackets via a pair of pivot mechanisms. The hinge pins and the pivot mechanisms are substantially parallel so that the entire ladder can fold and collapse against the side of the mobile equipment in response to an external force, such as an obstacle. The hinged brackets can be self-centering via gravity, a spring, or both. A pair of flexible straps are attached to the second end of the hinged brackets, and hang vertically from the brackets. A pair of lower pivot mechanisms and a lower step are attached to the lower end of the straps, oriented in the same manner as the first pivot mechanisms.
