    Abstract: A sparkless socket including a socket, a sensing module, a controller, a switching module, a pressing stick and a mechanical switch is provided. The sensing module includes an emitter and a receiver. The receiver receives an infrared light emitted by the emitter through a light guide element module and holes on slots of the socket and generates a sensing result accordingly. The pressing stick is pressed by a plug if the plug is plugged into the socket. The mechanical switch is controlled by the pressing stick to generate a first signal. The switching module is controlled by the controller to transmit an AC power provided by a city power system from the controller to the socket. The controller determines whether the plug is plugged into the socket according to the sensing result and the first signal and thereby enables or disables the switching module.

In a sampling period, data of an electric appliance is transmitted to a cloud server, and a load boundary is determined. The electric appliance is detected to obtain a measured power factor, a measured root-mean-square voltage and a measured power. Further, a supply frequency of an electric supply is recognized. Based on the measured data, a real part and an imaginary part of the load current related to a reflection coefficient of the electric appliance during the current usage state is calculated. On a real-imaginary current coordinate system, the load boundary and a coordinated point representing to the real part and imaginary part of the load current are displayed. Whether to execute a protection process is determined according to the load boundary, the real part and the imaginary part of the load current.

The multiport power transmission apparatus includes a PCB, sockets, switching modules, metal cross-lines, a neutral-line metal bar, and a live-line metal bar. The sockets and the switching modules are disposed on a component side of the PCB. The neutral-line metal bar and the live-line metal bar are disposed on a solder side of the PCB. The live-line metal bar is disposed between an orthogonal projection pattern of each socket and the neutral-line metal bar. A power input pin of each switching module is connected to the live-line metal bar through the solder side. A power-output pin of each switching module is connected to a live pin of a corresponding socket through the solder side. Two terminals of each metal cross-line are respectively connected to a neutral pin of a corresponding socket and the neutral-line metal bar through the solder side.

    Abstract: A power transmission apparatus with over-loading protection and power-saving mechanism is provided. The power transmission apparatus includes a switch module and a control module. The switch module includes a first switch circuit, a second switch circuit and a protection circuit. The first switch circuit is coupled between a power input module and a power supply port. The second switch circuit is coupled to the power input module. The protection circuit is coupled between the second switch circuit and the power supply port and detects a load power of the power supply port when the second switch circuit is turned-on. When the load power is greater than a predetermined over-loading threshold, the protection circuit enables the first switch circuit. After the control module determines that the first switch circuit is enabled, the control module controls the first switch circuit keeps enabling and disables the second switch circuit and the protection circuit.

It will not only save energy but also improve the electricity security for the household.
