Patents Assigned to Embru-Werke, Mantel & CIE
  • Patent number: 5367963
Abstract: The table has two telescopable supports (4) each with a flange (22) at the upper end. To the flanges (22) there is screwed fast a tub (6). In the rear part of the tub (6) there is present a cable channel. The table plate (8) is horizontally shiftable on the tub, so that the cable channel is accessible. With an extensible crank (62) over a toothed-belt gear two threaded spindles are synchronously actuated in the supports (4) for the height adjustment. The table is rapidly resolvable into space-saving parts, without its being necessary for the height-adjusting mechanism to be disassembled. The table is convenient to operate.

  • Patent number: 4936066
Abstract: The connecting element (1) has a flat head (2) with an inside hexagon (3), a shaft (7, 8) and two studs (5, 6). The two studs (5, 6) are offset against one another through 90.degree.. The first stud (5) molded on the free shaft end is shorter than the second stud (6). The connecting element (1) is suited especially for connecting the side wall (37) of a supply body of a room divider with vertical, tubular columns (35) of the room divider. The connecting element is very rapidly mounted. In the installed state the second stud (6) holds the side wall (37) spaced from the column (35). For this reason the supply body is somewhat shorter than the clear distance between adjacent columns (35). The supply bodies, therefore, can be installed in and removed from the room divider very simply and rapidly subsequently.

  • Patent number: 4903924
Abstract: A first coupling part (6) consists of a bushing (10), a coupling bolt (11) and a ring (12) and is inserted into the end of a pipe (2). Two rest lugs (16) of the bushing (10) engage there into rectangular break-throughs (5) of the pipe (2). The coupling bolt (11) is turnable in the bushing (10) and lies with a head (26) against it. It is joined secure against with the ring (12). This has support shoulders (32) for the support of the face surfaces (4) of the pipes (2, 3). On its circumference it has two wrench surfaces (34). A second coupling part (7) is cup-shaped and is likewise snapped in place with rest lugs (42) in break-throughs (5) of the other pipe (3). The base (43) has an oblong hole (46) through which a bolt (45) of the coupling bolt (11) can be inserted. After turning of the bolt (11) through 90.degree. a spherical supporting surface (47) of the bolt (45) lies against the cylindrical support surface (44) of the second coupling part (7) and clamps the coupling.

  • Patent number: 4516509
Abstract: This piece of furniture is designed for setup at the work place in a modular design concept and has an adjustable tabletop. At the rear edge of the tabletop (1) there is at least one bolt (27) with a projecting end which passes through a vertical slit (29) in a hollow beam (3). In the hollow space of this beam, there is at least one vertical adjusting spindle (32) which has a follower nut (31). This follower nut is connected to the bolt (27) in such a way that when the spindle is turned, the rear part is raised or lowered. The adjusting mechanism is easy to operate and permits infinite adjustment of the rear side of the tabletop. It takes up very little space, so that electrical lines and other facilities can be housed easily in the hollow space of the beam.

  • Patent number: 4397244
Abstract: Two lateral parts (1) interconnected by an upper support (21) are provided in an office furniture unit, with an adjustable table top (22) being arranged between said lateral parts. The adjustment of the table top in the tilt and vertically is accomplished by lateral and posterior pin engagements (35 and/or 32). A bolt (28) which is positioned for reciprocal movement is arranged in the posterior edge (26) of the table top (22). The head (54) of the bolt (28) grips behind a vertical slot (38) of the support (21). Upon disengagement of the table top for its adjustment, it remains connected to the support via the bolt so that it cannot drop out.
