Abstract: There is provided a spring-powered drive apparatus including a casing (102), an output shaft (103) mounted on the casing (102) in a relatively rotatable manner, a one way clutch (112) externally fitted on the output shaft (103) in the casing (102) and, a spiral spring (105, 107) housed in the casing and wound by turning of the output shaft (103) in the direction in which the one way clutch (112) transmits torque. Thus, there can be provided a compact spring-powered drive apparatus and a self-propelled caster that can be applied to a work cart or the like.

Abstract: An air balancer has a rotary drum on which a rope member is to be wound and that is supported rotatably by a stationary shaft in a casing, a conversion system that converts pressure of first air supplied into the casing into rotational force of the rotary drum for winding the rope member on the rotary drum, a rotary member that is rotatably supported by the stationary shaft and linked with the rotary drum to integrally rotate therewith, a rotation restriction member to be in contact with the rotary member to restrict rotation thereof, a disengagement mechanism that causes the rotation restriction member to retract by pressure of second air supplied into the casing to thereby disengage the contact between the rotary member and the rotation restriction member, and a control module having an air circuit that supplies the second air into the casing only when the first air is supplied into the casing or when the first air is discharged from the casing.

Abstract: An apparatus for removing a casting fin created on the tire-mounting surface of an aluminum wheel comprises: a chuck for positioning the center of the aluminum wheel at a predetermined position in the apparatus and positioning the casting fin on a predetermined line passing through the predetermined position; a stylus for movement following the profile of the tire-mounting surface of the aluminum wheel; and a cutter having a rotary shaft parallel to the center axis of the aluminum wheel and moved to a casting fin removing position along a line passing through the predetermined position at an angle with respect to the predetermined line for removing the casting fin of the aluminum wheel in accordance with the profile movement of the stylus.
