Publication number: 20060231562Abstract: An insulating wrap for adding to containers to prevent heat adsorbsion or heat loss is composed of conductive insulation material as well as radian barrier material. The insulating wrap conforms to the container shape and has multiple attachment elements for closing and retaining the insulating wrap to the container. The insulating wrap may also have attachment elements for adding a top and/or a bottom insulating cover also comprising conductive insulation material as well as radian barrier material. The insulating wrap may employ insulating tape on the top and bottom edges to protect the edges as well as to further improve heat transfer at the interface between the top or bottom covers and the insulating wrap. In one embodiment the top cover may have an integrated handle piece where the top and bottom cover attachments have sufficient strength to allow a container to be lifted. This embodiment facilitates lifting of a insulated container.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 12, 2006Publication date: October 19, 2006Applicant: Manning Environment, Inc.Inventor: Dean Carroll

Patent number: 6874968Abstract: This invention relates to pockets for holding a single or a small batch of sheets of paper, and particularly to the construction of an enclosure which provides “direct write” storage and access for a top leaf enclosed therein, where one entry lip of the pocket is on a border of one edge of the pocket forming a “book edge” for retaining the margin side of a leaf, and dual corner tab pockets are on the opposing edge's corners for retaining one or both corners opposing the margin edge of said leaf, thereby allowing the secure entry of one or more leaves therein, allowing the encoding of the sequence position of the leaf when placed therein as to a place in either “last in first seen” or “last in last seen” position, offering secure sequential viewing along the book edge when the ends secured under the corner tabs are both free, and providing for direct writing on the surface of the top leaf when the pocket is laid face up.Type: GrantFiled: December 3, 2001Date of Patent: April 5, 2005Assignee: Productive Environments, Inc.Inventor: David C. Patent number: 6833172Abstract: What is provided is a leaf having adhesive on one side which is formed as a plurality of panels and has a series of fold hints between panels thereof, where the folds hints make folding of each panel onto the other easy, and where the fold hints are provided either by the unique shape of the panels one to the next, or by lines of perfection. The invention provides such a sticky leaf that can be lifted up and formed into a loop by folding on the perf hints and to the delivery of such a sticky leaf as a sheet of multiple leaf members, a roll, or a individual leafs.Type: GrantFiled: December 12, 2000Date of Patent: December 21, 2004Assignee: Productive Environments, Inc.Inventor: David C. Patent number: 6679418Abstract: This invention relates to multi-sectioned file folders, and particularly to the construction of an integrally formed self sectioning file folder having at least a sectioning panel formed between a front and a rear cover. The invention provides for the self-sectioning panel as part of a pocket panel which pocket panel may be formed as a pocket on the front or rear cover of the file folder by a series of folding and a sealing operation. The invention provides for the formation of such a self-sectioning panel of “book mark” strips for separating piles of paper, formed from a single panel sectioned and continuously folded piece of material, where the book-mark array can be formed by only two folds and a sealing operation.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 2002Date of Patent: January 20, 2004Assignee: Productive Environments Inc.Inventor: David C. Patent number: 6543379Abstract: This invention relates to the separating of papers in a file folder and to a simple, minimalist formation of a multi-separator leaf which can be easily attached to a file folder or integrally formed with a file folder and whose multiple sections can be split apart and used to provide individual dividers for separate batches of paper. A single leaf comprising a leaf body and a leaf hinge portion is provided, where the leaf body is separable into a plurality of marker tab sections, —while remaining hingedly attached to the leaf hinge portion. The multi-separator leaf is provided as a separate entity where the leaf hinge portion can be attached at the spine of a file folder so as to become a part thereof. The multi-separator leaf can be attached at the spine of the file folder and provided as an integral part of a file folder.Type: GrantFiled: November 30, 1999Date of Patent: April 8, 2003Assignee: Productive Environments IncInventor: David C. Patent number: 6415979Abstract: Images of plant equipment are first acquired and then marked or tagged to provide reference images used during inspection of the plant equipment. The reference images provide easy guidance without requiring markers on the equipment. When inspecting fewer than all inspection points, an inspection route manager is used for selecting inspection points. A report generator provides a report with problem inspection points clearly indicated on images of the sites where problems are detected. GPS measurements of plant equipment positions are acquired when taking images, and are used to guide during general inspection and when visiting problem sites after general inspection.Type: GrantFiled: July 20, 1999Date of Patent: July 9, 2002Assignee: SNC-Lavalin Environment Inc.Inventor: Jean-Luc Allard

Patent number: 6243076Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for a user interface control that utilizes one or more graphical objects (“comets”), which can be operated solely by the eye gaze of a user. The disclosed system and method enables users to access and control, for example, computer displays without use of hands, voice or other forms of input. Each comet may be implemented as an animated graphic object that is mapped to one or more computer functions (a command set) by a computer or software application programmer. A computer-based system may create one or more comets on a display device and place them in motion. Eye tracking data may be collected over a period of time based on the detected point-of-gaze of a user's eye. If the user is determined to be visually tacking a particular comet, the comet will become selected and the computer or host system may execute the command set that has been mapped to the selected comet.Type: GrantFiled: September 1, 1998Date of Patent: June 5, 2001Assignee: Synthetic Environments, Inc.Inventor: Franz Hatfield

Patent number: 5789009Abstract: A pizza mold and method for making a pizza includes a frame having a generally planar surface with one or more cavities extending across an extent of the frame. One cavity can be disposed at a location on the frame which corresponds to a desired configuration for the pizza. One or more cavities can in addition or alternatively extend across the frame in a desired geometric or fanciful configuration, such as an alpha-numeric character, cartoon character, etc. The dough is brought into contact with the frame either by forming the dough across the surface of the frame such that the dough covers the frame and is pressed into the cavities, or the dough can be located only within the cavities. In the former case, the frame is removed with the cavities imparting raised ridges of dough on the crust, while in the latter case the flat pizza pie can be formed separately and the frame inverted such that the dough in the frame is transferred onto the surface of the pie to impart the raised ridges of dough on the pie.Type: GrantFiled: April 12, 1996Date of Patent: August 4, 1998Assignee: Silverback Environments, Inc.Inventors: Branko Kordic, Roger R. Patent number: 5508049Abstract: A pizza mold for forming pizza dough includes a frame having a peripheral configuration which matches the desired peripheral configuration of the dough, e.g., round, rectangular or square. One surface of the frame includes a plurality of concentric cavities formed at predetermined radial distances from the geometric axis of the frame, with one concentric cavity being formed adjacent the peripheral edge of the frame. The frame is designed to be brought into contact with the dough and the dough is formed (e.g., rolled) across the surface of the frame with the dough being formed in the concentric cavities. When the pizza mold is removed, the concentric cavities produce raised ridges of dough on the surface of the dough. The cavities can be formed in rings across the surface of the frame to create annular raised ridges for a round pizza, or the cavities can be formed in rectangles or squares across the surface of the frame to create rectangular or square raised ridges for a rectangular or square pizza.Type: GrantFiled: May 19, 1995Date of Patent: April 16, 1996Assignee: Silverback Environments, Inc.Inventor: Branko Kordic
