Patents Assigned to Ernst Jacobi & Co. KG
  • Patent number: 5008972
Abstract: Cleaning apparatus for textile machines disposed in a row, which cleaning apparatus can be moved back and forth among the textile machines. The cleaning apparatus has blow hoses provided with nozzles to blow off loose fuzz from the textile machines, and at least one suction hose for sucking up the blown off fuzz. For each textile machine at least one stationary blower is disposed at the machine side opposite from the suction hose and has at least one blast nozzle for blowing air covering the floor below the textile machines. The cleaning apparatus has a vertically extending, relatively rigid air blast duct which docks at the blower when the cleaning apparatus is aligned with the blower.

  • Patent number: 4891860
Abstract: A device for distributing air blast in a cleaning device for textile machines. Blow hoses, adapted to the respective type of machine, are used for cleaning spinning and winding machines arranged in a row. An air distributor box having a valve is provided between the ventilator and the blow hose. The valve interrupts the supply of air blast to a blow hose and directs the air blast into another blow hose during the transition from one type of machine to the other. Flow losses result due to the air distributor box and the valve. In the present device, a housing surrounds the spiral ventilator housing and has an air duct for each blow hose. The ventilator housing is provided with a blast opening and can be turned about the impeller axis. The ventilator housing is brought into a rotating position in which its blast opening discharges into the air duct, to whose blow hose the air blast is to be conducted.

  • Patent number: 4121318
Abstract: A textile-machine cleaning device, having a cleaning hose and adapted to generally move overhead of a textile machine, is provided with means whereby the hose can be moved automatically from a first position in which it is operative to clean said machine, and a second position in which it allows the unimpeded passage of a further device (e.g. a yarn-attaching machine) servicing said textile machine and moving in the same path of movement as the hose. Conveniently, the cleaning device operates in combination with said further device, which is provided with means coacting with said means for moving the hose so as to cause said hose to adopt one of said two positions. Seven embodiments are described and illustrated.
