Abstract: Injection devices are provided for injecting additives into a refrigeration or air conditioning systems, which include a tubular element defining an inner chamber, the inner chamber having a volume at least equal to the volume of the quantity of additive to be injected. An inlet fitting is attached to a first end of the tubular element; an outlet fitting is attached to a second end of the tubular element. The devices are also provided with an additive inlet port, distinct from the inlet and outlet ducts, fluidically communicating with the inner chamber and configured for removable connection to an additive injection device. The inlet port is engaged by a one-way valve suitable for allowing the passage of the additive only from the injection device to the inner chamber. Kits and methods are also provided.
Abstract: A device for charging a primary fluid system, such as an air-conditioning or cooling system, closed and at a first pressure (P1), with a secondary fluid, comprises a dispensing cylinder of the secondary fluid, said cylinder containing the secondary fluid and a propellant fluid having a second pressure (P2) greater than said first pressure. Said cylinder further comprising a filler valve operable to allow/block the exit at least of the secondary fluid from the cylinder. A connection hood is partially superposed over the dispensing cylinder, fitted with connections means suitable for fluidically connecting said filler valve directly to said primary fluid system or to a connection pipe to said system.
Abstract: An apparatus for injecting an additive in a pressurized air conditioning or refrigeration system, comprises a cartridge having two ends, a first open end which connects to the system being charged and a second open end, and wherein said first open end comprises a threaded nozzle. A piston is sealably disposed with said second open end of said cartridge. An adapter is provided to sealably and releasably connect said cartridge to a service valve of the pressurized air conditioning or refrigeration system. The adapter consists in a fitting having a fitting body with a first end portion to be connected to the threaded nozzle of the cartridge and a second end portion to be connected to the service valve of the pressurized system.
